Ive seen some reports saying the colors are not vivid enough -- I dont agree at all. Set up was easy and having the two HDMI and other ports available is a great bonus.

I have a small space for my monitor and this screen fit the bill. The price was great and so is the quality. My only wish is that the stand were a bit taller.

Edit: As of 2022 it appears these monitors have doubled in price once and then dipped back down to $100. I wrote this review having purchased them for $80 a piece. Dont buy them for anything over $100. Not worth it. When theyre approaching $200, theres better monitors around that price point easily. I will say though, after 2 years none of them have given me any issues. Sometimes you need five monitors. Why? I dont know man, but I have them. Due to the sheer amount of them I possess, youd assume theyre good. They are good. I was hard pressed to find other monitors with the specific features this one has at such a cheap price point of $80 at the time of purchase. They have very clear picture quality, and a smooth refresh rate if youve only ever used 60hz monitors. Maybe its placebo, but I felt like the 15hz made a noticable difference. The color calibration is washed out and saturated out of the box, but with some fine tuning it actually looks pretty good. I dont really think youll find much better at this price point. I got five of them and none of them had dead pixels or any issues, so you can rest assured that you probably wont have a hassle with these. If you do, then dang man I dunno. Would I buy this again? Well, I did. A lot. So yes, but not anymore. I dont need more. For now. Side note, always order it without an HDMI cable. I did, and I was pleasantly surprised each time, interpret that how you wish.

I gave this three stars because I think its probably a decent monitor, especially for the money, but I havent used them, and was tempted to give one star due to my issues. I ordered two of these on a Prime Early Access Deal for just under eighty dollars each. I ordered two because I have a motley collection of mismatched monitors and I wanted two that match for my setup. However, I should have paid attention to the review by Matthew M., because the monitors I received have the SAME model number, but they are DIFFERENT. One says extra thin bezel and has a diagonal viewable area of 21.5 inches, and the other says nothing about the bezel, has a quite noticeably thicker bezel, and has a diagonal viewable area of 21.45 inches. They are SIMILAR but placed next to each other would look significantly DIFFERENT, which totally defeats the purpose I had in mind when ordering two identical monitors of the same model. Amazon says they have had other customer complaints about this, but Sceptre does not distinguish between the monitors and gives them the same model number. They (Amazon) recommended I order a third monitor, and if it matches one of the others, then I can send back the odd one. So, if you want two of these monitors, and you want them to match, then to be safe, you need to order three. Unless Sceptre decides to put out a third style with the same model number, in which case you might have to order four... Update: I gave up and sent these back, it was too frustrating to try to get two that were the same.

Works well. Its a huge upgrade over the TV I been using for years as a monitor. And I bought 2 of these. My only issue is the onboard speakers are horrendous. I bought these in hopes to make a full replacement for my TV, which I use its speakers as well. But, then again, I bought these for my computer to get a nicer setup for gaming. So Ill just get better speakers. The only thing I want to warn folks about the most is the one thing I seen from others. Make sure you go into display settings and change the refresh rate to 75 hertz. Regardless if its Windows, Mac, or Linux, it wont automatically change to that...despite getting the information for this monitor.

First and foremost, the picture quality is impressive. The 1080P resolution provides clear and sharp images, making it perfect for gaming, watching movies, or working on design projects. The 75Hz refresh rate is also a plus, as it ensures a smooth and seamless viewing experience with minimal motion blur. The monitors design is sleek and modern, with slim bezels and a lightweight frame that makes it easy to move around. The stand is also adjustable, allowing you to tilt the screen to your preferred viewing angle. Setting up the monitor is a breeze, with simple plug-and-play installation. The monitor comes with VGA and HDMI ports, which means you can easily connect it to your computer, gaming console, or other devices. In terms of value for money, the Sceptre 22 inch 75Hz 1080P LED Monitor is an excellent investment. It provides high-quality performance at an affordable price point, making it an ideal choice for those on a budget.

I love the size and appearance of this monitor the screen clarity is perfect. Only thing thats not super great about this is the audio. I will say youd have to get some speaker or input headphones if you want louder volume.

Very good quality for what you’re paying for. I needed a second monitor (mainly for working remote) and decided to pick this up. So far, so good. Picture is very good and screen quality are good as well. Comes with it’s own screw driver and it’s ready for mounting if that’s what you want out of it. Definitely recommend. I initially bought this because I needed a small VESA-mount monitor to go into an arcade cabinet kit that I was building. But while this one claims to be mountable, thats really only a half-truth. First off, the mounting holes are on the bottom of the backplane, not the center, so it sits very high on the mount. Second, the input connections are all on the back of the monitor as well, right next to the mounting holes. So if you plan to mount this thing directly to a wall or other surface that obstructs any more than just the area immediately around the mounting holes, youre gonna have a hard time plugging anything in. In my case, there was a board spanning the width of the cabinet that it was supposed to be mounted to; I wound up drilling some extra holes in the board to access the plugs and drilling some new holes in the cabinet walls to lower the board enough to align with the display area. And finally, the control buttons are also on the back, making them also very hard to access if you have a board or wall covering it. So... if you just want a small desktop monitor, this is a great unit for the price. But if you plan on mounting it, be prepared for a lot of extra hassle.

Whether you are a gamer or a movie buff, the Sceptre E225W-19203R monitor is the way to go. 1080P resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) delivers stunning color and picture detail on a 22 inch screen. A 3 millisecond response time displays action sequences with the highest Degree of clarity. Enjoy 2X HDMI, and VGA inputs to connect all video and gaming devices.
