> 3 dayEdit: As of 2022 it appears these monitors have doubled in price once and then dipped back down to $100. I wrote this review having purchased them for $80 a piece. Dont buy them for anything over $100. Not worth it. When theyre approaching $200, theres better monitors around that price point easily. I will say though, after 2 years none of them have given me any issues. Sometimes you need five monitors. Why? I dont know man, but I have them. Due to the sheer amount of them I possess, youd assume theyre good. They are good. I was hard pressed to find other monitors with the specific features this one has at such a cheap price point of $80 at the time of purchase. They have very clear picture quality, and a smooth refresh rate if youve only ever used 60hz monitors. Maybe its placebo, but I felt like the 15hz made a noticable difference. The color calibration is washed out and saturated out of the box, but with some fine tuning it actually looks pretty good. I dont really think youll find much better at this price point. I got five of them and none of them had dead pixels or any issues, so you can rest assured that you probably wont have a hassle with these. If you do, then dang man I dunno. Would I buy this again? Well, I did. A lot. So yes, but not anymore. I dont need more. For now. Side note, always order it without an HDMI cable. I did, and I was pleasantly surprised each time, interpret that how you wish.

Greater than one weekhdmi1.4 should be able to handle 1080p @ 75hz, but the option isnt there. It only shows up when using DP. That said, its a little bright, but settings allow adjusting this. The cost is nice and i like sceptre. This is an update a/o 30DEC22: This is the 12th sceptre monitor ive purchased, starting back in 2003 and obviously I like them. I dont use them for gaming or tv, but for many other things. The issue now is that sceptre is not changing model numbers. For example, I bought my daughter this monitor, from this link about 5 years ago, and it was an E225W-19203RT. I then bought her another 22 from this very same link showing youve ordered this 3 times before and got a slightly different looking box with model E225W-19203RT. The new monitor was almost completely frameless, it was quite beautiful, but it didnt match the old one, so we repurposed the old and I ordered another 22 from this very same link, 5 days after the last. We got a... you guessed it, E225W-19203RT, but it was the same look/design of the one from 5 years ago! Ive since put in a replacement request to see what happens, but the issue is clearly that the model numbers arent changing, but the physical unit is. Buyer beware While I didnt take a picture of the latest shipped monitor, its because im shipping it back, but it looks 100% like the old one.

> 3 daySo, I went back and forth on ordering these. After reading many of the more technical reviews on Amazon (this is not going to be one of those) and checking the manufacturers website to compare both listings, I took a shot and ordered two of these monitors for my dual monitor setup. The confusing thing is that there appears to be a discrepancy within the Amazon listing. The image and the description on the listing shows what appears to be a monitor with an edgeless or frameless bezel, however the model number, E225W-19203R and the product details under the From the Manufactuer section of the Amazon listing reflect a monitor that clearly has a bezel. Comparing this to the manufacturers website, it shows that the E225W-19203R is in fact for the Business Pro Series monitor that does have a bezel. In other words, this monitor does not have an edgeless design. Many of the review images appear to show this monitor. However, when I ordered the monitors the model that I received were the E225W-19203RS which does IN FACT have an edgeless frame design, which is what I wanted. It is possible that since this Amazon listing was first created (shown as 2017), it has been subsequently updated to reflect the newer model, but certain errors still exist. Just note that if you are looking for the originally posted monitors, you may actually receive what I believe to be a newer design. Both monitor models are listed on the manufacturers website, but I could not find the E225W-19203RS anywhere on Amazon when searching for it specifically. All of that aside, Ive been using these for about two months and so far I am very satisfied with them. The only thing that I have an issue with is the placement of the VESA mounting holes, which are shifted toward the bottom of the monitor. When I attached them to my dual monitor arms, each bracket, which is made to accommodate both 75mm and 100 mm configurations, sticks out pretty far beneath the bottom of the monitor and is visible from the front. What I had to do was attach each monitor using only the top two holes in the monitor to the bottom two holes in the bracket. I figured that the monitors are so thin and light that they would be okay if each is mounted using only two holes and so far, so good. I will just have to be careful when moving the monitors around, but I dont do that very often. It would have been better if the VESA mounting location was more toward the center of the monitor.

21-11-2024Given that this Spectre is a Monitor and not a TV i suppose i shouldve seen it coming that i would have to find a way to power this separately but overall its fine, But there are some occasional pixels getting screwy with it. some greens, some blues, and so on. but these are so few and far between its often at the mercy of whatever temperature the room is so i dont think about it too much, Otherwise, its fine, i can use it. but it makes me wish there were still 22 inch TVS out there without gigantic bezels.

> 3 dayBought this to use with my laptop. I think this monitor is ideal for exactly this purpose. I was using a laptop that was not primarily made for gaming but I did want to game on it. This monitor has the benefits of high refresh rate gaming with the 75hz and I think this is the biggest selling point not to mention being about $80 when I bought it. Sceptre is quickly becoming my go to brand for monitors impressing me across the board with their monitors especially for gaming. I have owned 3 Sceptre monitors now and im always impressed with the unboxing experience including a screw driver to assemble the device as well as all the video cables you could need to use it. I assembled it in 5 minutes and was ready to go. The speakers in the monitor are surprisingly decent, I was able to watch Netflix on it with just the speakers from across the room and I was very satisfied with the picture and sound quality that I got. Also, big plus is having 2 HDMI ports, I had both my nintendo switch and computer plugged into it at the same time. I dont see that feature even on expensive monitors so that is very nice to see from a budget option. If you are doing any kind of video or picture editing, this monitor is not for you but otherwise great monitor would highly recommend to anyone entering the PC gaming realm or just need more screen realestate

> 3 dayPor su bajo precio tiene una calidad muy buena. Un buen detalle que trae son las herramientas de desarmado, dado que monitores de precios similares nunca traen, dando así a entender el empeño que pone la ensambladora con su producto.

> 3 dayThese are labeled as 75 Hz, but I havent been able to test it because I dont have an HDMI to type c cable and all the dongles and docking stations I have cap out at 60 Hz. I hope these last as long as my Asus monitors, they are 12 years old and still work perfectly. I wanted these to reduce the frame size and weight, and these did not disappoint. I was a bit scared when some people said they had dead pixels, but I ran a pixel test on all colors and variations and I did not find a single dead pixel on either monitor.

Greater than one weekVery good quality for what you’re paying for. I needed a second monitor (mainly for working remote) and decided to pick this up. So far, so good. Picture is very good and screen quality are good as well. Comes with it’s own screw driver and it’s ready for mounting if that’s what you want out of it. Definitely recommend. (The monitor is on the right side in the attached photo)
