Works well. Its a huge upgrade over the TV I been using for years as a monitor. And I bought 2 of these. My only issue is the onboard speakers are horrendous. I bought these in hopes to make a full replacement for my TV, which I use its speakers as well. But, then again, I bought these for my computer to get a nicer setup for gaming. So Ill just get better speakers. The only thing I want to warn folks about the most is the one thing I seen from others. Make sure you go into display settings and change the refresh rate to 75 hertz. Regardless if its Windows, Mac, or Linux, it wont automatically change to that...despite getting the information for this monitor.

Pros: Speakers Ports on back of monitor (especially the headphone port) 75hz refresh rate 5ms response time Beautiful picture Sturdy feel Wall mountable Cons: Height is not adjustable I sometimes wish the screen could be tilted down just a tad further (I like to lay in bed and watch movies) Ive had this monitor for 2 weeks now and I am seriously loving it. I honestly dont think you could find a monitor with as many features as this one for the same price. I built myself a PC about 3 weeks ago, and I thought I would not need a monitor as I had both an old TV and an old monitor laying around the house. Unfortunately, after hooking everything up I hated them both! They really looked quite awful. So I went ahead and looked for a monitor. I really didnt want to have to buy speakers (because who wants ANOTHER added expense?) and I hate wearing headphones because they usually feel uncomfortable after about an hour (Ive tried loads of designs... I guess I just have sensitive ears). So, this monitor was the perfect solution. For just under 100$ (I believe I paid $88), you get a full HD monitor equipped with built-in speakers, 2 HDMI ports, a VGA port, an audio in port, an audio out port (so yes, you can plug headphones directly into the monitor if you like! A great feature considering most headphone cords arent long enough to reach the port on the actual PC tower), and of course, the DC-in port for the power. I actually bought this monitor FOR the speakers, something that many reviewers advised against. However, I am quite pleased. If youre an audiophile or you plan to listen to a lot of music, then perhaps you wont be happy with the speakers. However, I enjoy them for a myriad of activities. I do use them to listen to music, but also a lot for watching YouTube/Facebook videos and streaming TV shows and movies. I personally havent noticed any buzzing and the sound quality seems pretty good to me. Maybe Im not very picky, or maybe the other reviewers have been VERY picky, but the speakers are really nice to have in my opinion. This monitor is also capable of 75hz refresh rate rather than the basic 60 youll get on most budget monitors, so if you are a gamer, you can achieve a bit higher of fps than you would with other monitors of the same price. Ive not played games at more than like 30fps (until now), so I cant vouch for whether or not 75 noticeably better than 60 or not. Either way, the games I have played on this monitor so far (Tera and Revelation Online) have looked beautiful. The picture looks great and setup was incredibly easy. Just plug it in and thats pretty much it. The default settings looked good to me, so I just left it that way, but changes are made easily enough via the buttons on the back of the monitor. Some people were griping about this, especially the fact that the power button is on the back, but I dont really find this inconvenient. The power button actually feels different than all the others (it has a little bump) and it is furthest to the bottom, so its VERY easy to locate by touch. I would say this monitor is definitely worth the money!

    Greater than one week

I bought this monitor as an additional screen for my home workstation. I have three monitors at work, and wanted a similar set-up at home for telecommuting. The picture quality is excellent. I read mostly WORD and PDF documents all day, and I find the clarity of the words and images to be crisp and very easy to read. The colors for work situations are more than adequate, although since Im not a gamer, I cannot comment on how well it compares to other screens for those purposes. The footprint on my computer desk is small and not a bother, and I find it to be quite impressive for the price, as I agonized over how much I wanted to spend for extra screens. I rolled the dice on this one, since the reviews were all over the place, and I feel it is a real winner so far. I hope to use it heavily in the years to come. The set-up and adjustment buttons are easy to use, there are additional USB and other ports if needed, and the edge around the exterior of the screen is not intrusive or oversized at all.

I have had two working now for about 2 months. The screen on the right totally went out with a bunch of colors all over, so I turned it off and back on and worked ever since. Not sure what happened but over all happy with them.

Bought this to use with my laptop. I think this monitor is ideal for exactly this purpose. I was using a laptop that was not primarily made for gaming but I did want to game on it. This monitor has the benefits of high refresh rate gaming with the 75hz and I think this is the biggest selling point not to mention being about $80 when I bought it. Sceptre is quickly becoming my go to brand for monitors impressing me across the board with their monitors especially for gaming. I have owned 3 Sceptre monitors now and im always impressed with the unboxing experience including a screw driver to assemble the device as well as all the video cables you could need to use it. I assembled it in 5 minutes and was ready to go. The speakers in the monitor are surprisingly decent, I was able to watch Netflix on it with just the speakers from across the room and I was very satisfied with the picture and sound quality that I got. Also, big plus is having 2 HDMI ports, I had both my nintendo switch and computer plugged into it at the same time. I dont see that feature even on expensive monitors so that is very nice to see from a budget option. If you are doing any kind of video or picture editing, this monitor is not for you but otherwise great monitor would highly recommend to anyone entering the PC gaming realm or just need more screen realestate

So, I went back and forth on ordering these. After reading many of the more technical reviews on Amazon (this is not going to be one of those) and checking the manufacturers website to compare both listings, I took a shot and ordered two of these monitors for my dual monitor setup. The confusing thing is that there appears to be a discrepancy within the Amazon listing. The image and the description on the listing shows what appears to be a monitor with an edgeless or frameless bezel, however the model number, E225W-19203R and the product details under the From the Manufactuer section of the Amazon listing reflect a monitor that clearly has a bezel. Comparing this to the manufacturers website, it shows that the E225W-19203R is in fact for the Business Pro Series monitor that does have a bezel. In other words, this monitor does not have an edgeless design. Many of the review images appear to show this monitor. However, when I ordered the monitors the model that I received were the E225W-19203RS which does IN FACT have an edgeless frame design, which is what I wanted. It is possible that since this Amazon listing was first created (shown as 2017), it has been subsequently updated to reflect the newer model, but certain errors still exist. Just note that if you are looking for the originally posted monitors, you may actually receive what I believe to be a newer design. Both monitor models are listed on the manufacturers website, but I could not find the E225W-19203RS anywhere on Amazon when searching for it specifically. All of that aside, Ive been using these for about two months and so far I am very satisfied with them. The only thing that I have an issue with is the placement of the VESA mounting holes, which are shifted toward the bottom of the monitor. When I attached them to my dual monitor arms, each bracket, which is made to accommodate both 75mm and 100 mm configurations, sticks out pretty far beneath the bottom of the monitor and is visible from the front. What I had to do was attach each monitor using only the top two holes in the monitor to the bottom two holes in the bracket. I figured that the monitors are so thin and light that they would be okay if each is mounted using only two holes and so far, so good. I will just have to be careful when moving the monitors around, but I dont do that very often. It would have been better if the VESA mounting location was more toward the center of the monitor.

I dont understand how this monitor has so many positive reviews. From the moment I hooked it up, the picture has been incredibly faded, and there seems to be no setting I can change to fix this issue. I desperately needed it at the time and didnt return, but I wish I had.

Whether you are a gamer or a movie buff, the Sceptre E225W-19203R monitor is the way to go. 1080P resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) delivers stunning color and picture detail on a 22 inch screen. A 3 millisecond response time displays action sequences with the highest Degree of clarity. Enjoy 2X HDMI, and VGA inputs to connect all video and gaming devices.
