Nice monitor, good color. Box appeared unopened but it was missing the wall mount and rubber cover (not sure what that was for). It didnt matter as I wanted a desktop monitor anyway on a stand

I initially bought this because I needed a small VESA-mount monitor to go into an arcade cabinet kit that I was building. But while this one claims to be mountable, thats really only a half-truth. First off, the mounting holes are on the bottom of the backplane, not the center, so it sits very high on the mount. Second, the input connections are all on the back of the monitor as well, right next to the mounting holes. So if you plan to mount this thing directly to a wall or other surface that obstructs any more than just the area immediately around the mounting holes, youre gonna have a hard time plugging anything in. In my case, there was a board spanning the width of the cabinet that it was supposed to be mounted to; I wound up drilling some extra holes in the board to access the plugs and drilling some new holes in the cabinet walls to lower the board enough to align with the display area. And finally, the control buttons are also on the back, making them also very hard to access if you have a board or wall covering it. So... if you just want a small desktop monitor, this is a great unit for the price. But if you plan on mounting it, be prepared for a lot of extra hassle.

Great for the price. If you are looking for quality and in picture I would go up in resolution. The frame rate is also okay.

Ive seen some reports saying the colors are not vivid enough -- I dont agree at all. Set up was easy and having the two HDMI and other ports available is a great bonus.

This monitor should only be purchased if it is being used as an auxiliary monitor or for a work pc that only being used to check emails and under no other circumstances would you want this for a main monitor, picture quality isnt great and the speaker sounds like its from a 1998 happy meal toy but for a cheap way to upgrade your setup, using it to watch YouTube or your stream chat on the side its a great option for the price.

Seems to bright and cloudy definitely threw me for a loop when I first played a game had to fix the settings which took forever and the instructions on attaching the stand are misguiding although it is a big decent monitor I would only recommend but it is fine you should still get it as it can be good if the settings are fixed and you have a budget.

Inexpensive monitor that has 2 HDMI’s. The screen looks and functions fine. Packaging was also good. Speakers are terrible, but it would do for basic tasks. Not going to cut it for meetings or music.

Ill try my best to update my review as I use the display, but I wanted to share my initial impressions. I was a little worried the item would arrive damaged. The box was kind of bouncing around within the shipping box, and when I received it it was very hot to the touch, it had been in a truck for hours it was obvious. My purpose seeking out an inexpensive display is to have an extra display for when I work from home, and to have another display I can have a friend use to dock a switch into while we have gaming parties. I was originally going to use my old Dell IPS display, but it didnt have HDMI and I was worried the 3rd party dock would not appreciate the loss of audio and the conversion from HDMI to DVI via a cable. The dock I got played nicely with the monitor and everything seems peachy. Pros: Easy to set up and VESA mount ready (though Im not using this) Thin, light, clean and sleek looking Built in speakers, and option to bypass them with audio out Cons: No remote means diving into units settings to change volume (at least for Nintendo switch, which relies on displays volume) Wasnt able to find the right settings to darken the screen enough. Blacks could be more black (contrast ratio not so great) Im sure I could get better display quality if I was using this primarily with a computer, but to be honest, for the price, so far, this is a good purchase.

When ordered, I specified it should be shipped in Amazon packaging. It was not. It came in the manufacturers box for all the world to see. Sometimes you want to hide items of value. I proceeded to assemble the screen to the stand, but only one (1) screw would thread into the bracket on the back of the screen, the remaining screw was improperly manufactured: there were no beginning threads on the screw. Fortunately, I have tap & die sets and was able to re-thread the screw (4mm x 0.7 pitch). If one did not have the proper tools one could seek out very good hardware store to find a replacement screw, or go through the process of returning the entire thing. Either way it would be needless aggravation.. Then came the power cable: too short. It would not reach from the tower to the monitor, so I had to re-use the old power cable from the previous monitor. Were not done yet. This monitor came with only an HDMI cable, no VGA cable. The HDMI cable is 5 feet long (measured @ 60). The cable needed to be seven (7) feet in length. I could have moved the tower closer to the desktop where the monitor sits, but that would have involved moving several large, heavy pieces of furniture (an oak file cabinet, an oak desktop/file cabinet with hutch). Or I could have ordered a longer HDMI cable: this would have to be a ten (10) foot cable - go read the reviews of 10 HDMI cables and youll see why this was not a viable option. So, there I go, once again, having to use one of the old monitors cables: this time the VGA cable. So far this monitor works very well. Bright. Good color rendering. Good refresh rate. No problems with the monitor per-se. The niggling problems are with the hardware & accessories.
