> 3 dayThe storage is immensely bigger than my previous drive and the program can help with my photography hobbies :)

> 3 dayThis model uses an outdated micro USB-b cable that is both slower than the drive and is easily damaged... Go with the new Seagate with USB c port

Greater than one weekIDK whose bright idea it was to put carpet on a portable HD...imo not a good plan. The stupid thing collects dust like your grandmas faux flower arrangements. You even look at it sideways and some misc weird black mark will end up on the fabric. Impossible to keep clean. Other than that, it works fine. Please do not put carpet on computer peripherals. Next time opt for idk some cool LED patterns like ASUS does. More futuristic aliencore, less grandmas pet HD.

> 3 dayMost drives have you charge an exorbitant sum of money for stuff like extra hardware protection, better storage space, and faster uploading speeds, but heres the deal: if you dont need to be constantly on the go at all times, this drive is more than satisfactory for storing and saving files. Im a video editor and I primarily use this drive to keep all my projects when Im not editing any of them, so it sits right next to my computer. I havent had any problems so far in a year of using it- very satisfying!

> 3 dayWe bought this to back up our photos. It is lightweight, portable, comes with a USB-C and USB connector (good for new computers/iPads), and functioned just as desired. I am highly satisfied with this purchase! I would recommend you buying this harddrive for any backing up needs you might have!

Greater than one weekI purchased this 8 months ago to store my hours of video backups. Works great….until it doesn’t. We heard the “beep of death” and the device wouldn’t connect. Customer support determined it was a bad device but would do NOTHING about their defective product. DO NOT BUY SEAGATE CRAP

> 3 dayI very sorry I bought this. It is far from plug and play as evidenced by my many ours with tech support.

> 3 dayFirst thing I did was drop this on the floor several times. However, its continued to work perfectly. It wasnt completely my fault, though, that I dropped it. USB-C adapter that came with it is almost impossible to insert in my Macs USB-C port. I ended up not using the adapter and instead plugging the drive into a USB port on a new hub that I bought.

> 3 dayThis device is fragile and poorly designed. I’ve used WD most of my life and wanted to try a different brand. Well, that didn’t go so well. Right after, (not exaggerating here) I transferred my life to this HD it fell 1 feet, onto a highly carpeted floor wheel it was in an insulated case. I plugged it back in and it started to beep - I had to send it into seagate for data recovery (thankfully I purchased)
