Got these for a steal during Black Friday, sensing the opportunity to get into high-end audio. With that said, Im very happy with these. Ill summarize their best features: - Exceptional audio (bass especially) - Relatively lightweight - Very comfortable (disclaimer: pretty big guy) They were a bit sibilant from the start, but that faded after a while. They also have a non-standard jack at the end, intended for more serious audio equipment, but it does come with a regular headphone jack adapter. My only gripe is that with it attached, the total plugin package becomes rather... big. I wouldnt feel comfortable using it on a mobile platform. On a desktop or other stationary setup, its great though. The cable is also pretty long, which is good if you operate a fair distance away from your machine like I do. I actually bought an extension cable with it for that reason and ended up not even needing it. Would buy again. +1

Frankly, these cans perform no better than my much smaller, much lighter PX-100s. I couldnt believe it myself. Was hoping for rich full sound from these 598s, but their sound is no better, no fuller, no richer than the PX-100s. Maybe folks who have reveiwed the 598s have never tried the PX-100s. Dont know. But for me, the hassle with the adapter plug, the bulky fit over my ears (quite warm) are not worth it. I compared the PX-100s and the 598s with classical, rock, jazz, female and male singers and frankly could not hear ANY difference. I also tried the 598s with the FiiO E6 portable amplifier and again could hear NO DIFFERENCE (by the way, I think the FiiOs are a rip off - again no difference with or without them). So, my 2 cents says: purchase the PX-100s. Oh, there is a tad bit less external noise with the 598s....but thats to be expected from big bulky over ear vs. small light on ear cans.

Después de ver tantas y tantas opiniones que los ponían por las nubes me decidí a comprarlos,son muy cómodos eso sí,pero el sonido es decepcionante al máximo,llegue a pensar hasta que estaban defectuosos pero no señores el sonido era horrendo oscuro apagado distorsionado,probados con un fiio x7 y con un Mac,saque del cajón los samson sr850 para comparar los mismos temas en los mismos equipos y estos auriculares de 30 eur le dan unas cuantas vueltas, suerte, un saludo.

Mine are almost 4yo now and still sound/look/feel like new. Got them on ny sale for around CAD $130.00 If you have never tried anything other than twenty dollars earplugs, like myself, you will be stunned. Even without an amp through basic 3.5mm phone jack you can actually hear every instrument, sound stage is impeccable, very airy and vivid. Noise insulation is absent and they leak sound a lot which is expected with open back built. Cant recommend enough.

Just got these headphones in the mail today after purchasing them during the Black Friday sale. After reading the numerous reports of fake items, I decided to check my particular pair out on the Sennheiser website. Im happy to report that mine are Sennheiser-approved authentic! They sound pretty great right out of the box paired with a Galaxy S6, no amp. The bass, which many claim lacks, is definitely there, its just not boomy. Compared to my V-Moda M-100 headphones, these initially sound a little less full, probably due to the bass reproduction. No less clear by any means, as they are very accurate. A good burn-in will probably work wonders. Also note that the Special Edition version comes with a 4 ft cable with 3.5mm end, so theres no need for an additional cable if you want a shorter one without that huge adapter.

I would rather say it as a gift from Amazon then purchase as I got this remarkable headset at 66% discount from Amazon. You will feel so comfortable wearing this that you will forget that its actually there on your head. This model from Sennheiser is for those people who seek perfection in each detail of song and its a must have for those crazy music lovers. Thanks Amazon for such lovely gift.

La cuffia è aperta, quindi destinata ad un ascolto in ambienti silenziosi (in ambiente rumorosi sentirete il rumore entrare nelle cuffie) dove SI POSSA DISTURBARE (essendo aperta ciò che sentite si sente anche allesterno). E una cuffia con una dinamica calda, bassi precisi e non invasivi, bella distanza tra gli strumenti,medi ed alti cristallini. Un suono coinvolgente ed appagante: non piatto, non forzato, non sporco. Sono cuffie consigliatissime, destinate ad una fascia medio/alta di audiofili. Forse le HD 600 suonano ancora meglio ma hanno un costo più che doppio in questo momento (299€ vs 129€ dellofferta attuale delle 598). La qualità costruttiva è eccellente pur non usando materiali nobili, sono plastica, gomma e vellutto messi insieme in maniera perfetta, ne risulta un prodotto appagante e leggero. Limpedenza è di 50 ohm, quindi è consigliato (anche se non obbligatorio) lutilizzo di un amplificatore. Su uno smartphone il volume potrebbe essere basso, a meno che lo stesso smartphone non abbia un DAC incluso (esempio LG V10 oppure HTC 10). La confezione contiente due cavi, uno con jack da 6.3mm (grande) ed uno con cavo da 3.5mm (piccolo). Cè anche un adattatore grande/piccolo. Ogni tanto vanno in offerta dal prezzo normale di 180€, sono scese anche a 99€, ma direi che se le trovate a 130€ come è successo al sottoscritto è un ottimo affare.
