Sennheiser HD 598 Special Edition Over-Ear Headphones - Black (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

The Headphones leak a lot. Low volume or high volume it does not matter. They are very comfortable but if they leak a lot then that is the main problem.

High quality cans for a relatively low price. Very comfortable. light weight, and well built. Not as easy to drive, not as comfortable, or clear when compared to the Audio-Technica ATH-ADG1 but that headset costs 150 more.

Music and bass alright. But headphones main purpose is to not disturb others. But unfortunately externally the sound is so louder that not only you, but each and every one in your office or house can hear the sounds this beast is producing. I am not happy with this and returned though they are charging me $7 for the returns.

Wenn Sennheiser schon auf eigene Kabel pocht denn doch bitte unter den eigenen produckten mit uneingeschränkter Kompatibilität. Bei dem Preis der HD 598 sollte es doch etwas mehr Zubehör geben. Eine Aufbewahrung Tasche etc. würde ich mir auch wünschen, von einem Benutzerhandbuch ganz zu schweigen. Mangelndes Zubehör

Really flat response for the perfect mixing. Open back doe the drivers can breath. They are really light weight so your neck dont get tired of having them on. Plus the soft cloth allow your ears to breathe. I just mixed a project so well with these It sounded PERFECT in my car and on a PA system.

Très bon casque, son précis et étonnant! Je ny ai mis que 3 étoiles car il nest pas fournit avec une housse de transport et connectivité jack qui ne rentre pas avec ma housse diPhone. Pour le prix je me tourne vers le Sony MDR 1A, mieux fourni et son équivalent. Dommage je renvoie le produit.

I went from a very bulky and heavy gaming headset to using these and a external mic. I have to say I dont think I would go back to a close backed headphone. These sound fantastic, the mids and highs are very crisp, base is good and not overwhelming. They are so light which has been nice in long use. I edit videos for freelance work while I go to university and these have been so much more comfortable that my previous headphones. I would absolutely recommend this too anyone.

These headphones are amazing, my daughter couldnt be more pleased. I bought these for her because she needed high end headphones to use with her new high end digital piano when her roommate is home in their apartment. At first we thought she could just use her earbuds when needed but that wasnt going to work; totally compromised the experience of playing her awesome new digital piano (a Yamaha dgx650). So I heavily researched headphones and based on what I learned from reviews and info on headphones, I decided on these. I wanted headphones for her that wouldnt detract in any way from her enjoying her piano playing. My daughter is amazed! She says its like shes not wearing headphones, only better! (meaning the sound quality). In fact, she says she prefers to wear them whenever shes playing, even when her roommate isnt home. I dont write many reviews, but thought since these headphones were even better than expected, I should share our experience, particularly for those that are looking for headphones to compliment their digital piano. You wont be disappointed.
