Sennheiser HD 598 Special Edition Over-Ear Headphones - Black (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

These cans are great. I love the Sen sound signature and these live up to that and then some. Comes with two cables (a short 3.5mm to 3.5mm and a longer 6.3mm to 3.5mm as well as an adapter from 6.3mm to 3.5mm) and the headphones and thats it. They are comfortable, have a good amount of adjustment, and sound great. Even a friend of mine who never likes any of the other headphones Ive owned because he complains about everything liked the feel and sound of these. Highly recommended.

Grâce à la sortie des 599, le 598 (et le SE noir que personnellement je trouve bien plus beau) est souvent à moins de 100€. A ce prix, aucun doute cest une affaire incroyable. Il est très confortable et le son est très respectueux de la source. La largeur de scène est très bonne et tous les sons, des plus graves au plus aigus, sont parfaitement respectés. Jai eu le HD555 pendant plus de 10 ans et celui-ci est une montée en gamme audible, surtout dans les graves et la largeur scénique.

Audio di alta qualità e affidabilità, tutte le frequenze sono ben bilanciate (frequenze più alte un pelo più enfatizzate ma non è un problema). Comode e ottime per sessioni di ascolto/lavoro prolungate. Consigliate anche per lavori in studio di registrazione.

Upgraded from Creative Fatality headset to these. What an amazing difference in audio. Never knew how much I was missing. Granted these dont have a microphone, but I have moved to a different setup for that. Very glad I made this purchase.

Sennheiser HD 598 Special Edition. My first over the head headphone. Although I had tried the Audio Technica M40x & returned them as I dint find them worth Rs 6400. Thanks amazon. This is a dream headphone for all budget buyers, & to get it at Rs 6499 was a lovely gift from amazon. Out of the box, they sound amazing. Excellent soundstage, clarity & depth of music. Bass is exactly as I wanted it to be -not too high but not too low either. They sound exceptionally well with the fiio e06 amplifier. Taylor Swifts You belong with me literally gave a 5.1 surround experience. And all this just in my 2 hours with these piece of marvel. I wonder how much they will improve after a 100 hour burn-in, which I m gonna do just by listening songs. Amazon, please drop the price below Rs 10,000 again so that other people with a low budget can have an experience of magical music.

Bought these to try a pair of open headphones. My previous pair was the Koss TBSE1. These are definitely very comfortable, as everybody suggests and the sound quality is also superb. At first I was not really impressed by the sound quality, but some things that I noticed eventually were that my ears did not heat after a long listening session (no fatigue) and the sound stage is really good. I definitely recommend this.

Best headphones for price

Please dont waste your time trying the HD 518 or HD 558. In the end you will come to the same conclusion as I have, that the HD 598 is the only answer to aural bliss. Some have said the HD 558 modded sounds like the HD 598. Its just not true...

Great sound quality and extremely comfortable. Love the open design. The velour ear cups allow me to wear these for hours at a time. Great product!
