Sennheiser HD 600 - Audiophile Hi-Res Open Back Dynamic Headphone

Amazing product, although I guess thats not a surprise since theyre still around after so long. Some people may think the bass is a little low but its more than enough for me, it plays a great representation of highs mids and lows in my opinion

Having owned my HD 600s for over a decade.5.......i set them down and tried about 30 pairs of headphones this last year 2014- 2015. I tried Orthos in the $800 range by Hifi and Fostex and Oppo, and i tried every $299 - $499 that has been released in the last 3 years that everyone like you is wondering about.

This is actually my 3rd pair of these; the first I gave to my son because he used headphones much more than I; the second I got for my brother to help him better appreciate his Pono portable music player; the 3rd I got because I was so impressed with the combo of Pono and these that I wanted the same set-up for myself. These remain one of the great sources of good reproduction of music available at any price and a steal at their actual price!

Upgrade from a pair of Audio Technica M40xs. While the difference isnt as pronounced as I thought it would be they definitely have a better sound.

Ive owned these for over three years now. I also own the HD800S, LCD-2C, and Ive listened to numerous headphones through numerous amps.

Ive been shopping for some new headphones now for nearly a year to replace my aging Sennheiser HD 525s that I probably bought close to 20 years ago. Theyve been quite the faithful set of cans, but replacement parts have gotten impossible to find. First Sennheiser quit selling the replacement ear pads, then the headband was discontinued, then their replacement cables got really expensive. So it was time to look for a new set to hopefully get me another 20 years of headphone-y bliss.

Love them. They go very well with my Little Dot MK III and my Schiit Modi. Soundstage is open, and sound signature is neutral.

Really top quality hi Fi sounding , rocks along with all music. A bargain.
