    Ive been shopping for some new headphones now for nearly a year to replace my aging Sennheiser HD 525s that I probably bought close to 20 years ago. Theyve been quite the faithful set of cans, but replacement parts have gotten impossible to find. First Sennheiser quit selling the replacement ear pads, then the headband was discontinued, then their replacement cables got really expensive. So it was time to look for a new set to hopefully get me another 20 years of headphone-y bliss.

    I soooo wanted to keep these. Everyone raves about them. In the end I felt the beyer t90 did the job better. For just music, these are what you want.

    Best headphones in the world, by far. Even better than their flagship HD-800. The tonality is second to none, non-fatiguing, top to bottom coherent. Truly an amazing headphone at a bargain basement price. I had tried the Audeze, Hifiman, HD800 and HD-650s. None of them offer such an all-around package as these babies. I have had these for 7 years

    I use Sennheiser closed back for all my live sound gigs, I have about 6 pairs of HD280s for FOH and keyboard rigs. Never have had a problem, and they are old and abused. While theyre good for that, I wanted something I could get a halfway decent mix on that translates well to my home recording monitor setup.

    Updated my old HD280s. These are remarkable! Comfortable, clear flat sound but great bass response.

    Je nai pas ce casque depuis très longtemps, et ne me sens pas la capacité de décrire son rendu sonore ou le plaisir quil me donne déjà, mais tiens tout de même à démentir ce genre de propos : ce casque demande une amplification dédier {sic} pour le faire fonctionner correctement. Jai branché le Sennheiser HD600 sur la prise casque de ma petite chaîne Onkyo, sur lampli-dac E10 de Fiio et sur mon lecteur digital portable (un C2 de Cowon*) et la musique est, à chaque fois, tout à fait audible, écoutable et agréable. Excitante même. Je redécouvre des albums que jécoute depuis des années. On ne saurait espérer mieux.
