Sennheiser HD 600 - Audiophile Hi-Res Open Back Dynamic Headphone

Ive owned for a couple of months now and they are holding up much better than any other headphones Ive used. I have a huge head and they are very comfortable and I regularly wear them for 8+ hours at a time with only short breaks. Most other headbands tend to get stretched out due to the size of my head but these feel like I just bought them still.

These headphones are amazing. Im new to the audiophile world but these headphones were recommended across multiple online forums as some of the best headphones even beating out a few other much more expensive options. I havent tried many headphones but I can honestly say these are worth 100+ what I paid. The sound is neutral sounding so if youd like to listen to music or watch tv/movies without any sound coloration these are it. The bass is tight and precise without ever sounding weak and packs a decent punch. These arent your average beats so if youre looking for that sloppy overwhelming bass they provide, you should look at another pair. The highs might be my favorite part. They seem to dance around your head while remaining crisper then many sounds I hear in real life. The build quality is what you can expect with the majority of German engineered products which is perfection. Theyre sturdy and the coating looks really nice under different types of light. They did take some time to get comfortable for me like there is some break in period but I also didnt realize that the ear cups can but rotated to fit the angle of your ears which helped a lot.

Ive had HD580s for years. They sound terrific. Unfortunately they had a loose connection in the cables from the beginning so I didnt use them much--they sounded fine, but I had to play with the cables and then not move to use them.

Nachdem ich in den verschiedensten Medien (Internet-Foren, Testberichten und diversen Hifi-Zeitschriften) die unterschiedlichsten Bewertungen gelesen hatte, habe ich mich für Sennheiser entschieden. So, wie man beim Italiener gute Pasta bekommt, so erhalte ich von dem Kopfhörerspezialisten auch gute Kopfhörer. Sennheiser hat mich nicht enttäuscht: klare Analytik, gutes Bassfundament, weiche Stimmen und Transparenz. Was möchte man mehr? Ich kann nur jeden raten, diesen Kopfhörer zu testen. Mehr gibt es nicht für so wenig Geld. Und, vertraut Euren eigenen Ohren und nicht dem Geschwätz der zahlreichen Pseudo-Gurus. Hifi ist immer noch sehr individuell und lässt sich schwer in ein Schema pressen. Wir hören, riechen und schmecken alle unterschiedlich.
