Greater than one weekFirst cordless vacuum Ive owned and I love it. So nice to travel from room to room without any hassle It is powerful and the battery lasts longer than what I expected it to. My previous vacuum was a Shark Rocket, so I am already used to having to lean the vacuum against something to have it stand upright when not in use.

> 3 dayBattery power: I was surprised at how little there was of it (how fast it runs out especially with power head and max suction. You might get 10 mins. Also the 3 bar life indicator is not as nice as a percentage mark and I wasn’t perceiving that would be a negative. If the battery was better I would have given it 5 stars. I also think it lacks a proper holder/ charger feature like dyson v series has. Pick up: The pick up is pretty good. It was keeping up with our 110v vacuum which is saying a lot. After vacuuming with the 110v unit, we vacuumed the carpet with the shark and it got more dust out. That said it definitely has less cfm airflow than sharks 110v model, so it’s not the most ideal for deep clean. I do like the convenience of not having to deal with a cord. 3. Overall pretty good for $300ish. If I prioritize the deepest clean I would have gotten a corded model. If I had needed more fancy convenience features I would have gotten their newest model, but this does almost the same job cheaper

Greater than one weekI would recommend it for anyone who wants to go cordless but doesnt want to pay the price for a Dyson. Pros: Works great on tile and wood. Love the bending feature for going under tables and chairs. Good on carpet and rugs if you vacuum regularly. Beater doesnt tangle with dog hair as advertised! Going cordless is great and is a time saver. Battery life is fine but we divide the chore - upstairs one day, downstairs another day. Cons: Will not stand up with battery connected-if you need to pause to move something you will have to lean it against something or lay it down. This is an annoyance that I can live with. 3 hours to fully charge battery. If you have a large area that uses the whole charge it would make sense to buy an extra battery just like you would for any cordless tool.

> 3 dayMy wife and I really wanted a cordless vacuum and quickly realized how expensive they all are. We took about two months to compare all of the various options that are on the market right now as well as visiting all the major retailers to see vacuums up close. After careful consideration, we went with the Shark IZ682H. For the price and options, it was just the best deal. This vacuum comes with two batteries and as you can see in my picture, it folds up quickly for storage. Our house is about 50% carpet and 50% hardwood. This vacuum switches between the two surfaces very easily and also handles the stairs very well. I was astonished at how quiet it was in the low setting and how much it actually sucks up. I figured it would almost always need to be run on the turbo setting which is a bit louder. I also figured because it would be in turbo mode most of the time, it would eat through the battery life and that was another reason I wanted the extra battery. So far one battery has held out just fine despite being used in our 3,700 sqft house. Again this is primarily on the low setting as we have not had to use the high setting very often. If I had to come up with a negative, it is the weight. It really is not an issue and compared to the corded version of the vacuum it is about the same. In reality, if I had to choose between the performance and ease of use this vacuum has or its weight, I will gladly deal with the few extra ounces in weight. My overall opinion of this vacuum is that it is pretty amazing. It is easy to maneuver in, under, and around furniture. It performs like a champ and is easy to store. I dont think after using this that I could ever go back to a corded vacuum again.

> 3 dayI tried the dyson v15 detect before this product and I loved it. It is not a Dyson for sure but these days I couldn’t rationalize paying for the $800 vacuum so I sent it back and started looking for one that was the closest to this dyson. This one is it. Although it is much more bulky and doesn’t vacuum under the fridge, stove etc it seems the suction is pretty similar and has other features that for me are better like folding to store and extension for under beds. I did not want to use the storage for the dyson since it involved placing screws in my wall, new home equals a hell na for me. Emptying the canister is similar as well, both do not hold large amounts but that doesn’t bother me to empty a canister. Overall, with half the price of the Dyson and other features I mentioned this is definitely the better buy.

> 3 dayI hesitated justifying spending this much money but bit the bullet. I am so happy I did. I live out in the country where there is constant dust or mud depending on weather and also have three dogs in house. One is long haired. The suction was impressive and easy to operate and to dismantle to attach other devices to reach different areas. I could clean easily behind t.v. and by the toilets. I love the flex so i can go underneather funiture where I couldnt reach before. Also the container is a nice size to accumilate so I am not always emptying the bin. I love how I dont have to mess with the cord which is bonus. Easy to store with the flex and doesnt take much room up. Overall so happy I made my life easier and cleaner with this vaccum. It came with batteries, a charger, and other devices to attach and detach depending what you want to clean. Now I have something also to clean my inside of car and dont have to drive to a carwash for a vaccum. Overall very happy! Also forgot its nice and light. If there is cobwebs on cieling I can reach them with ease.

> 3 dayWe originally bought this vacuum last year because I needed something for hard floors and carpeted stairs without a cord after my Electrolux vacuum motorhead busted. I had read good reviews on the Shark VERTEX and after meticulously researching what I need, durability vs. what I can afford we decided on this vacuum. We are a family of 4 relatively messy people, including a toddler so I vacuum daily and need something with good suction power. We have no pets so at the time, pet hair was not an issue. Fast forward a year when we were forced to move and our housing circumstances changed, we are in a house with mostly tile but with carpeted bedrooms and no stairs. We also have three cars so being able to vacuum them easily is a must. let me first start off my telling you what this vacuum isnt! THE CONS: It lacks suction power for basic automobile use. The attachments that it came with dont provide a good angle in small spaces making it really difficult to use. This vacuum requires a bit of maintenece and the Shark fins are NOT durable. Like I mentioned before I have two messy kids so as you can imagine I find all kinds of things on the floor and this vacuum is not up to task for larger objects such as Cotton swabs, Crayons etc...they get caught under the brush-roll and have ripped up the shark fins. I realize this is a wareable feature and is not covered under warranty, but with how easily they fell apart, SHARK needs to work on that for future models. It does pick up a lot of fine dust, but since we moved into a house that the previous family had a DOG, I find myself even almost 6 months later still filling the dust cup when I vacuum the carpet with copious amounts of dog hair and dander. THIS is what made me decide to go back to a full sized vacuum. We bought a SHARK ZU782 and with the amount that this vacuum has picked up over the last day since we bought it, Ive decided my voice needs to be heard loud and clear. The Shark VERTEX cordless is NOT capable of the deep cleaning that carpet needs. It actually makes your carpets look worse compared to a full sized vacuum. Its only capable on hard floors, nothing more. OK SO the PLUSES or the PROs: It has a good battery life for a cordless. I am able to vacuum about 1,000 square feet of hard floor before it dies. It has met my needs in this way for both houses. Portable, easily storable and compact. It can easily be kept in a closet or small space if needed. It sure can take a beating. Its fallen on the floor a multitude of times and nothing has broken or cracked on this machine. Dust filters are easily washable (buy a second set if you need something readily available while the other two are drying) It has a closed system. Important for people that suffer from allergies including myself! It does a good job on hard floors, does not spray crumbs everywhere like other vacuums! SO all in all I gave this vacuum 3 stars, but ultimately this vacuum is going into the closet as a backup vac. We switched back to a full sized SHARK DUOCLEAN and are so far happier with its cleaning capabilities.

Greater than one weekReally like this vacuum. Great for a multi dog household and I use it daily. The two cons are not being able to keep the attachments, at least one, directly on the machine. The biggest con would be the shocks. Whew! It zaps quite hard and it seems to get worse as time goes on. I use a silicone oven mitt to keep from getting zapped.

Greater than one weekI’m not in love with it but I really like it so far. I hate the bulk of it. This thing really does not get hair wrapped up in the parts!!! I am a female with long thick hair. Whatever the science, it’s magic!!! My 2nd favorite feature is that the backward arm bend it does to reach underneath really low furniture! No more bending awkwardly, getting on the floor or lifting/moving furniture!!
