Works well! Light weight. Worth the money. To my surprise this works quite well, my husband has the vacuum Notsi and he loves us and says it works great! My only downfall is for some reason I thought it would mount on the wall. But it’s a much cheaper version of the Dyson and worth it!

Saw a test including this Shark Vertex on the Project Farm youtube channel under the best cordless vacuum video (great channel for product tests) and liked it best for our needs (hardwood, some carpet, lots of stairs). I love how modular it is. Im in awe in how little hair ends up in the roller. Have only had one clog to get out of it in about 4 months of use (compared to our old stick vac). Would purchase again for sure!

It’s not a Dyson and I bought it due to the reviews and I know it’s not a Dyson. Compared to our Dysons which are light and have powerful suction and the Dyson batteries keep dying and needing replacement, the Shark is bulky and not as powerful. Then again it’s not a Dyson.

Battery power: I was surprised at how little there was of it (how fast it runs out especially with power head and max suction. You might get 10 mins. Also the 3 bar life indicator is not as nice as a percentage mark and I wasn’t perceiving that would be a negative. If the battery was better I would have given it 5 stars. I also think it lacks a proper holder/ charger feature like dyson v series has. Pick up: The pick up is pretty good. It was keeping up with our 110v vacuum which is saying a lot. After vacuuming with the 110v unit, we vacuumed the carpet with the shark and it got more dust out. That said it definitely has less cfm airflow than sharks 110v model, so it’s not the most ideal for deep clean. I do like the convenience of not having to deal with a cord. 3. Overall pretty good for $300ish. If I prioritize the deepest clean I would have gotten a corded model. If I had needed more fancy convenience features I would have gotten their newest model, but this does almost the same job cheaper

Im really happy with my purchase! Ive only run the battery out once. Today. I hadnt vacuumed for a couple of weeks and I ran it on high almost the whole time, but I did get finished and had to empty the canister twice. Yeah, that dirty! My 2 daughters have Dysons. Until I bought a Shark Navigator, almost everything that blows or sucks in the house is a Dyson. I like my Shark better than theirs and it cost half as much. Theirs has no light shining on the floor ahead of you and believe me, you cant get stuff you cant see swept up! Also, with this you see clear tracks on the floor where the dust is now missing. Not just the dirt! It is amazing and I didnt want the light! The Dysons are quieter but they dont have a carpet cleaning setting. Turning on the carpet roller makes it noisier. I really like having the trigger to pull that makes the suction stronger. I use it about half the time...except today after having neglected cleaning for a couple of weeks. My dog sheds like crazy and it does the job pretty well. I do choose to vacuum the carpets every other week with the Navigator. It lifts the carpet nap better and gets up a bit more out of the nap. The stick does clean it well to the eye. Suction - my Shark picks up a lot of things on the floor that the Dysons cant; like leaves and dog kibble. It keeps pulling up all kinds of stuff until it just quits and then you know the battery has run out. Only twice since I bought it in November 2021. The front sponge roller popped out when I was using it today. Never before. It had picked up a corner of a rug. I cleaned out the area that holds it and put it right back in without having to look up how. Really nice! Its great! I am really happy! 6 months ago - Get one of these great cleaners while they are offering discounts! This quite surpassed my expectations for cleaning. The Vertex technology of having a solid, soft roller in front is amazing at cleaning, even the DUST off of my hard surfaces! I thought I wanted to be able to turn off the front headlights, but NO! I love seeing the absolutely dust-free/furless paths I am leaving on my floors. You need to do an internet search for reviews on Vertex! Thats what sold me! I am the daddy of a canine shedding machine and I am disabled with walking and balance issues. I am so glad Ill be able to vacuum as often as I want to. I am the owner of a Shark Navigator that sucks rugs off the floor. This isnt that powerful but I am really satisfied! It got my rugs clean with one pass. And my hard floors are sparkling clean! I was a bit scared about the weight of this vacuum because of my disability. You need not be. This is well balanced and although it wont stand up on its own, it will steadily lean on table/counter high surfaces like the back of a chair. Vacuuming for me used to mean fighting a cord wrapping around my cane and my back hurting for days. No more and I felt safe & steady using this vacuum. Do NOT be scared away by the reviews about static shocks! I used it through a full charge 3 times yesterday without a hint of static shock. It held a charge for at least 40 minutes while having the carpet roller operating about half the time. I am pleased with how long the charge lasts and how quickly it recharged. The cleaning head goes easily under the furniture that I kept a dust mop for. That suckers out of my way now! My model comes with 3 tools; a crevice tool, a multi-angle duster, and a pet upholstery tool that is converts from a 4 brush to a flat fuzzy tool. The motor assembly is easy to detach to use these tools. I am pleased to have the HEPA filtration but it wasnt a feature I felt I needed. I used it on carpet setting a bunch but VERY seldom used the boost suction mode, which does need to be constantly held on with your finger. But you wont be needing it except for bad spot cleaning! This picked up multiple leaves that were on my floors from heavy holiday traffic. I was pleasantly surprised. My upright only gets about half of them. I have multiple Dyson products in my house and a Dyson vacuum in the basement that after 4 years broke and wont switch from hose to floor. When I got my Shark upright Navigator I was blown away with the increased suction that seemed twice the Dyson. So, when I shopped for a cordless stick vacuum I didnt heed my daughters encouragement that I follow them back into Dyson world with this and went straight to Shark! I am really glad to have the 5 year warranty on the vacuum and 2 year on the REPLACABLE battery! Dont spend hundreds of dollars on a vacuum that doesnt have a removable/replaceable battery! Ill admit that after my Dyson experience I did buy the $35 extended warranty for peace of mind. I found two con issues but they were definitely not deal breakers! If you do some heavy cleaning you will have to reach into the dust cup and remove the wad of debris that wraps around the metal mesh post. I noticed some hair wrapped around the back beater-bar and when I turned over the cleaning head to easily open the cover to the bar, I found a bunch of dog hair on the brush bars that catch any errant fur. It was easy to pull off with my fingers. I would never bother to do that regularly. I just noticed it when I was getting my daughter-in-laws really long hair unwrapped from the bar. That will only be a holiday experience. Ill update this in a few weeks, but I wanted to encourage you to take advantage of the discounts being offered. I am so very happy I got this vacuum now!

As I’m still using this vacuum, it’s wonderful for the floors, quite. It did take me awhile to figure how to unfold to make upright. Nice that you can disconnect the battery from the vacuum and charge elsewhere. Because the battery is close to the handle of the vacuum, it’s heavy, even on low rug setting it still sucks up my area rugs and will suck up cat/dog toys with no problems. Make sure they are all picked up. I feel even though it was not great for my area rugs, I still like it to use on my floors, and you can get under chairs, bed etc.

Pleasantly surprised at how much this picks up and how much better my hardwood floors look! Does well on carpet that is not sculpted. Has plenty of suction power!

This vacuum is AMAZING compared to my Dyson cordless vacuum cleaners. I love that I can see the percentage of battery life I have left. I love that I have two batteries that I can easily change as I need to. The swivel floor head is awesome and this thing cleans so well!! I am so impressed with this vacuum that I want to give my Dysons away and order a second one of these so that each floor of my home has one. However, I think I will wait a bit in hopes that Shark changes this design a little. Here is what I hate about this vacuum... Its very top-heavy. It will not stand upright on its own at all. So if you are vacuuming and what to pause to move something out of the way, you have to lay this down on the ground. This is very annoying. I thought I would like that this folds down to save space but I actually hate it and hope this will change in the future. I have used my vacuum for about two weeks and already a piece is falling off and getting caught up in the roller. In addition the little wheels get filled with hair and fibers and its very difficult to clean these out. I reached out to customer service about the rubber piece falling off and they stated this is NOT covered under warranty, only the motor is. They cant replace just the rubber piece that they would have to replace the entire head unit. Since its not covered under their warranty (regardless that I just purchased it less than 2 weeks ago) they would only replace it as a one-time courtesy. If something breaks again, it would not be free to fix/replace since I would be using my one-time pass. Already, I dislike Sharks customer service/warranty policy - especially considering the price we pay for this item! Luckily Amazon has outstanding customer service and they did replace this for me.

Update: Less than 1 year later :( I’ve had my vacuum for less than a year. Safe to say I wish I had a magic time-turner like Hermione had in order to go back and save myself the $400 I spent. I’ll update the pictures with what I now find myself dealing with - the sweet feature of the arm that bends so you can reach under beds and furniture? I don’t know if it’s faulty or just cheap - but it’s broken on not one, but both sides now. The battery power is still fine. Especially since I have to stop and clean out the head of it with a chopstick because everything gets clogged in it. I can’t vacuum up a cheese-it cracker without the thing getting clogged. The only way I can vacuum is if I sweep manically beforehand and use one of those pet-hair things on my carpets by hand. I guess it just wasn’t meant to stand the test of time. Or a house with pets, or kids, or people with hair. Maybe my household isn’t meant for a cordless stick vacuum - maybe it’s me, not you, Shark. But safe to say, it was a massive waste of money and I’m now back to buying a $100 corded vacuum cleaner and hoping there’s a replacement part for the arm of this thing so maybe I can still use it to tackle the downstairs hardwoods after I sweep? I’d save your money, shoppers. Old Review: Have you ever heard that anecdotal story about the man who couldn’t afford to buy the most expensive, longer-lasting boots so he had to repeatedly buy the cheaper boots? I come from a family where that is exactly what was done. We buy the $100 vacuum cleaner, have to replace it every year, and after 3-4 years of this, we could have bought a decent vacuum. So, I have to preface this with I am coming from owning a Dyson v8 that was a hand-me-down from my ex future mother-in-law. It was on its last leg when she so graciously gifted it to me, even moreso 5 years later. It finally died and rather than spend the $300-$400 on replacement parts and repair, I decided to treat myself. I just bought a house, I deserve a brand new vacuum to go with it. I have a 6 year old son, a 5 year old Saint Bernard, and 2 ambiguously aged felines. I needed suction, I needed power, but I also hate cords and different heads swapped out for different floor types. That’s what annoyed me with the Dyson the most. Not to mention the battery died after 10 minutes. So I stumbled upon this Shark with the display and I got the two batteries because I have a 2-story home built in 1907 with narrow, L-shaped stairs and full carpet upstairs with full, original hardwoods downstairs. Let me tell you: 1400 sq ft livable space with 50/50 carpets & hardwood, even on the full power, doesn’t run through a whole 60 minute battery. But I’m glad I got the two so I suggest you do the same. As far as suction: wow. The carpets upstairs .. I vacuum them weekly and I vacuum the hardwoods downstairs daily. After vacuuming with this vacuum, it was as if I had never vacuumed anywhere in this house since I bought it 3 months ago. It sucks up every fine, coarse, short, long, human, or animal hair that exists and NO not one wraps around the dual fin things that they advertise. On high power, I can vacuum the entire upstairs and still have battery left. Chef’s kiss. 10/10 on power/suction/fins or whatever. As far as the electric shock - I took a photo of the change they must’ve made to this new model - a little metal piece on the handle to ground you. I’ve been using this vacuum for a month on high power, medium pile carpet, and not once felt a shock. My 6 year old vacuums regularly and even with his tiny hands, can maneuver it and not be shocked. 10/10 no shock, except at what comes out of the dust bin. Overall, from a single mom with a hairy house, I’m grateful I took the leap and spent the $400 on this vacuum. It was well worth it. I have a feeling it will be durable and long-lasting as well, but I can always come back in 10 years as long as I and my vacuum survive any pending nuclear war or zombie apocalypse (which I have no doubt we will as I intend on using my vacuum as a weapon in that instance). Oh and I also used the different attachments to clean my car and the thing sucked up at least a large sized McDonald’s French fry which has been petrified and fossilized on they floor of my Nissan, thanks again to my 6 year old. Highly recommend.

The Shark Vertex combines incredible suction power with the convenience of a lightweight cordless stick. Featuring DuoClean PowerFins technology with two brushrolls, you get deep cleaning to pick up more in every pass* and a MultiFLEX wand for flexible reach and compact storage (*vs. original DuoClean).
