I have tried numerous different ways to get it to connect to Alexa and it wont recognize it. The instructions to connect it was for a completely different app. And it didnt integrate. Alexa recommend one app and the instructions recommended another. Neither one integrated with the Alexa app.

Buy a magnifying glass to read directions. However be sure to use app name from directions and NOT the recommended one for brand by Alexa.

I wish I would have seen the exact same plugs that uses the Smart Life app for the same price, before I purchased these. These plugs run off an app named Cloud Intelligence. So, it takes additional steps to set them up. Its another app you have to pair with Alexia. Its another app to sign up for, another account, another password, and another company with your email address. Its another app you need to figure out how to use. Later, you have to remember which app runs what plug and it gets overwhelming. I have multiple light bulbs, multiple plugs, multiple light switches, a thermostat, a washer, and a TV. Now, guess the name of the app that runs what, if you have to reset it. Other than that, the plugs work fine.

My current view: after posting my prior review I was contacted by the manufacturer who promised they had fixed the issue I described below. They sent me a free shipment of replacement outlet plugs and they worked exactly as they were supposed to. Very happy with their effort to correct the problem. Prior review: I own several other brands of these and they are all pretty much the same. HOWEVER, these will not connect to my wifi - yes, Im trying to connect to 2.4ghz. Yes, I have followed the instructions TO THE LETTER. Yep, I have their most recent App. They will not connect. I strongly recommend you look elsewhere for wifi plugs. There are many good brands - just not these. The box says 2 year warrantee - good luck finding anyone to honor it.

They work accept they are too bulky. I tried to install two of them stacked 1 to control my Speaker and other to control the Subwoofer. I couldnt fit both on the same outlet. I had to use a small extension plug so I can fit both on the se outlet. Setup was easy like every other smart plug I used before.

Sorry easy to set up! The one thing the instructions dont mention is that when you first plug it in you have to hold the button on the side for 5 seconds until the led starts to blink. That puts you in discover mode so the app can find it and set it up. As easy as pairing a Bluetooth device. From there you can manually turn things on/off, put them on a schedule, or set up rules. Great for scheduling Christmas lights, making the house look lived in when you are on vacation, or just turning stuff on without getting out of your comfy chair!

Just tried, works as described totally and perfectly. However, it only works for 2.4GHz wifi. Major WIFI are 5G now, I am lucky my router still supports 2.4GHz wifi. But they are definitely great smart plugs.

I have to unplug them and plug them back in every two weeks or so when they stop showing up on the phone app. The phone app is a swiss army knife made for dozens of different kinds of devices, and needs more permissions than are justified. Every couple of months the app forgets who you are and youll be digging for your login credentials, so youve been warned... put them in a password manager. Other than that... yeah... they work OK.
