    Greater than one week

I bought the 4-pack of the Smart Plug ESICOO, and was able to connect it to the Cloud Intelligence app following the instructions provided. Each plug needs to be set up individually. I labeled each plug with a number (1,2,3,4) and then changed the name of each plug in the app (One, Two, Three, Four) so that I could then use the Alexa skill more easily (ie, Alexa, turn off One). The instructions also provided simple steps to set up the Alexa Skill (warning, do not use the Smart Life Alexa skill as I inadvertently did following the instructions that Amazon provided--read the provided instructions!)

works great till you loose power or unplug it. then it will switch some of yours settings off/on and break your schedule.

I have to unplug them and plug them back in every two weeks or so when they stop showing up on the phone app. The phone app is a swiss army knife made for dozens of different kinds of devices, and needs more permissions than are justified. Every couple of months the app forgets who you are and youll be digging for your login credentials, so youve been warned... put them in a password manager. Other than that... yeah... they work OK.

Every time I install one of these I have to set my wifi to 2.4 to connect it, then switch it back and it still works, but that sure is a pain in the ass. Once thats done though, they work pretty well. I use them with Alexa routines daily and they have worked pretty flawlessly. There is a bit of a loud tick when turned on though.

I got a four pack of these to install around the house. The idea was to make a smart home with Alexa to get voice control for my MIL. She has muscle degradation so getting up to turn things on and off can be difficult. These were used around the house and the shed. One was attached to a heater, another two in the shed. Ive had them for several weeks and have had only Alexa related problems. For example the shed lights (controlled by this plug) turned on seemingly randomly. This turned out to be my naivety with the best practices in naming conventions for devices. An Alexa issue combined with my ignorance. Changing the names fixed the problems. I noticed several other reviews mentioned these randomly turned on and off. I suspect that they may also be attributing the same problem to these devices instead of fixing the actual problem. I took one star off because I dont like having so many apps. While the CloudIntelligence App appears good, I would prefer to just use the Alexa app. Same with light bulbs. Programming was easy. Plug in, hold the button till the blue light flashes and connect with the app. You will need to make an account and have your router PW available. If you are new to the smart home and can afford the devices that connect without requiring a new app, go down that path. If you dont mind another app or already have the CloudIntelligence app, then these are a good cheap solution. Just research Alexa naming conventions and study groups before you setup your home on the fly like I did. You will probably have to redo it all and that is a pita. WiFi rage was impressive, but it needed a good signal to program. Once programmed I could reliably control them in the shed (100ft away) from anywhere in the house. I could not however get them to program from the shed. Life is better now that I can say, Alexa, turn on shed heater, and it gets warm without me having to go there to turn it on. Great when you know you will be working in the shed soon. I will put another on the AC in prep for Summer!

Open the box and see I have to download an app to use the SmartPlugs. The App is called Cloud Intelligence. I sure dont like downloading and having Chinese app with a questionable name. It sure doesnt give me confidence that the app is not compromising my data. I tried several other apps, but they would not connect the plugs. I gave in and installed the app. It connected fairly easily and then I connected it to google home and can now use my voice to turn lights on or off. To use the schedule feature, you have to open their app as it cant be done through google home. Overall, I am happy with my purchase, but they should really consider changing the name of their app. It doesnt give me much hope of any security...

I actually read the disclosure statement and it boldly states that any personal information that is gathered from this plug can be shared with the Peoples Republic of China. No thanks, sent them back.

We bought a set of these for home automation while were away camping. Lights come on and off just like were home all evening. And we can vary the times on the fly right from the campground. When home I set them up so a lamp comes on automatically at my usual wake up time, early... Theyre not difficult to set up, but make sure you plug them in one at a time, using the app to set each one up as it finds them. Dont forget to name them based on where they are going to be located, especially if using Alexa to control them. Ive used them for 4 months and theyve worked flawlessly. Reviewing since I came on to buy another 4 pack.
