> 3 dayI have a older house with few light switches in it and use floor lamps for lighting. I seen this and though it would be a good addition for my google nest. I ordered 8 units, 1 for each room of my house. So far I have only set up 2 of them. I have had them in use now for almost a week. The first night at 9:27 p.m. EST one of the units came on by its self, and the other worked fine. I figured it was just a learning curve issue. So the next day I plugged the unit back in the wall outlet and erased it from the app I downloaded with the QR code on the guide, uninstalled the app from my phone and redone the process, tied it to my nest and everything. Again at 9:27 pm, EST, it came on by its self. I go in to my nest settings and check for a timer setting and dont see one set, and I then check the Cloud Intelligence App from the QR code, and dont see one set. So I deleted the unit from the nest to see if that would help the issue. The next night the light came back on at 9:27 p.m. again... (IDK) By now I am 3 nights in to this one socket. I added another room on to my nest using the cloud app and a different socket. Now both lights will turn on in the middle of the night multiple times and wake me up. So I figure it is my snoring causing them to turn on through the nest. So I deleted both rooms from my nest and just use my phone to toggle them on and off. (No voice control) And both units are still turning on and off by them selves.. I came home from work yesterday and both were on and flashing rapidly 5 times on the little blue led and both units were on. I seen that my ISP done a ip dump and I had to reboot my cable modem and then repair the units to my router to get them to stop blinking so rapidly and function with the phone again. And again last night I woke up 3 different times to the lights being on. No good.

Greater than one weekAfter i figured out how to connect to phone it was simple to turn on and off, but setting the schedule is not. I had it set and it was working but it randomly shuts off. Multiple times now i check to see if it’s on/off and it’s not. Today both on and off are shut off. Not understanding that. Update schedule still not working but do like control on my phone.

> 3 dayI had a hard time connecting them. I wanted to use them for my Christmas lights in the house. They would work sometimes then not at all.

> 3 dayI dont like how the plugs keep losing the internet connection then I have to press button on side of plug to reconnect. Most of the time this doesnt work. One plug didnt work at all and I asked for a replacement. Instead they sent me an entire box of plugs, 4. Even after I returned the 1 defective plug, I got charged for the replacement plugs. I didnt ask for 4 plugs to replace 1 plug. Not very happy with how this was handled. If you can keep the internet connection with the plugs they do work with Alexa.

> 3 dayThese smart plugs are less than half the size of my old tplink plugs. My old plug would block both sockets and more. These new plugs are much better and take up a small footprint. I took some photo of my old plug next to it. The setup was pretty straightforward. Just install the app, add the device with 2.4gz Wi-Fi, and add Alexa services. It took me about 2 minutes to set up each plug. I was able to control the plug using voice via Alexa. So far it’s working well. The app also allows for scheduling. I used mine to control my plant lights, aquarium lights, and fans/lamps around the house. I’m pretty happy with these so far. Good price for 4.

> 3 dayI was pleasantly surprised that I can control the plugs with the app remotely. Setup was pretty easy and once it is setup it is maintenance free. Only drawback is that the size is pretty big and kind of difficult to use two next to each other on a power strip. I just use the timer function and cannot comment on other features.

Greater than one weekAfter trying with two other kind, I finally came across these ones and violá, they worked like a charm. The only this I wish is that they wont cut off the power completely off the appliance/socket. I tried it with one of my cable boxes, and unfortunately because it shuts it down completely when it turn off, every time I turn it on it goes through the set up process. No big thing, but it would have been nice to be able to plug both the TV and the box in one and have them box turn on simultaneously instead of having to give Alexa two commands. Maybe I been lazy, but isnt that the reason that we are automating our lives? So we dont have to work hard? LOL. They are really good for independent items like, fans, humidifiers, coffee makers, lights, etc. If you want to control you kids video game usage (and they dont know you are using a smart plug), this will be perfect because you can set it up to shut down for specific times. This wont work if they just unplug the little gadget and plug their machine straight on the wall socket, thou. LOL. Great buy

> 3 dayTHIS IS HOW YOU PAIR WITH ALEXA: You have to download the Cloud Intelligence app and you must have the Alexa app. Put the device in pairing mode by holding the button for 5 seconds until it starts blinking. Using the Cloud Intelligence app, select add a device or use the auto find feature. You must have a 2.4g wifi signal for it to pair and you must input your wifi password. You must also allow permissions for Bluetooth and precise location while using the app. Once the device is found, edit the device and rename it whatever you want. Then Open the Alexa app. You must be logged into BOTH accounts. Using the Cloud Intelligence app, go to the profile tab, select More Services and youll see amazon alexa and google assistant. Select amazon alexa, select Bind Account and your phone will open your Alexa app and it will attempt to link the two apps/accounts together. This opens a web page and will either be successful or not. Your Alexa app will get a notification saying its been paired, and your alexa may even audibly tell you that it found new devices, with the names you gave the devices if you edited the names in the Cloud Intelligence app. TEST TO SEE IF WORKING AND THEN DELETE THIS INVASE DATA STEALING APP. It is granted permissions to your search history, photo library, exact location, all your bluetooth and wifi info. Plugs work great but the amount of info it requires to install is downright unacceptable
