> 3 dayAdded them recently for Christmas decor lights and loved the ease of install/setup. Was able to create a “Christmas Scene” in Home and schedule it with automation. Will likely buy more.

> 3 dayI am a Home Automation enthusiast and I own a number of accessories that work with Apple HomeKit. I purchased this smart plug for a few reasons: (1) Small footprint (2) Price (3) HomeKit support Packaging: Both the plugs come packaged snugly in a small box. Installation: Installation was a breeze, I simply plugged the smart plug in the outlet and added the accessory by scanning the HomeKit code. I believe the plug can also be setup via the eHomeLife app but I did not try that. Usage: I am using it to control a table lamp and so far there haven’t been any issues with connectivity or losing the WiFi signal. Rating: I will give the device five stars for now, I plan to revisit and update the review in a few months.

> 3 dayI have many meross products and this smart plug works with meross app. Click on add device and go through the setup as normal. I have it setup with Alexa as well but prefer the meross app to control the the plug. I have not set up it up with Apple Homekit but plan to do this once I get a chance. Overall this is great product and adds additional versatility with Home kit.

> 3 dayTheyre trash. I can never tell if they want to work or not. I did the Apple Homekit installation and that seemed easy enough, but its up to pure luck if theres even a response from them or not. Sometimes they function and thats nice but most of the time they dont. I just dont understand how these things passed certification if they cant even connect and stay connected to a wifi network in a 300 sq ft area.

> 3 dayAfter going through more drip coffee makers than I can count, I decided to go old school and get a percolator. So far so good, except I have to plug it in when I want to make coffee. Worse, sometimes Im afraid Ill leave it plugged in if I leave home, as it doesnt turn itself off after a while. I had a choice of getting a timer or a smart outlet. Being a modern man, I opted for the outlet. Setting it up for use with Siri is pretty easy, although your probably need an Apple TV or a HomePod (both of which I recommend). Anyway, make sure your iPhone or iPad is on a 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi network, then add it to your Home app by scanning the code. After a few minutes you can give it a friendly name, like coffee pot, and youre good to go. Now I can just leave it plugged in and say, Hey Siri, turn on the coffee pot and coffee will be on its way. Same goes for turning it off. Or you can check the Home app and see if its on or off. Its great. Itd be even better if it would set up the coffee pot, but I guess were not that far into a Star Trek future yet.

> 3 dayI’ve reviewed Meross and Refoss products before. Their smart home products are fantastic and simply work. Love their new switch style! The company is now adding HomeKit to their smart devices. This adds a new level of compatibility and flexibility for the home user. This review isn’t about HomeKit vs Alexa vs Smart Things. I only use Alexa right now But with an Apple network and ecosystem, installation was easy but the set up is different. I checked with Meross/Refoss and this part is true. If the smart device is HomeKit enabled and you have the HomeKit app installed on your phone/tablet, YOU WILL be setting up the smart device first through HomeKit. You cannot set up the device through Alexa until set up with HomeKit has taken place. Other than that weird setup requirement, the plug installation and use of the plug is simple and as one would hope. I continue to use the Meross app to control the devices as it is simpler for quick device manipulation than the Alexa app. If you are concerned about the quality and reliability of this product, you can be at ease. I exclusively use Meross/Refoss. The setup is simple and easy, the products respond quickly and reliably, and the customer care (when rarely needed) is always genuine and happy to help. Enjoy your plugs!

> 3 dayAnother Refoss product that knocks it out of the park. The device is simple to set up - I was able to have both plugs functional in under 5 minutes. I love to play with home automation devices and I have used a lot of different products. Ive had setup problems with OTHER brands, including some name brands and the ones pushed hard by Amazon. Not these! These plugs are super simple to set up and just work...plain and simple. The plugs are priced well and have functioned flawlessly for me. They support Apple HomeKit and Google Home, and can also be controlled through the eHomeLife app. I added them through the eHomeLife app and then integrated them with my other devices connected to Google Home. They feel strong and durable. Not flimsy or cheap feeling at all. I now have 6 of them around the house, and plan to get several more soon.
