> 24 hourWorks fantastic. Finally a brand of pencil that the lead isnt broken inside every 1/4. Sharpens to a nice point as well.

> 24 hourI recently took to sketching again after many years, and did not know very much about artist pencils. However, I really like the labeling, the differences in hard and soft, the way they sharpen without waste and the tin. I am a self-taught beginner; however, I like the control that I seem to have while using.

> 24 hourSo far I am very happy with these Staedtlers. I am a Derwent user usually but in my last set the H value pencils begin to feel scratchy and were marking my paper. I ordered a set of these while I emailed the Derwent company. So far I have noticed none of those issues with the Staedtler pencils. They sharpen nicely, but do be careful which sharpener you use. The derwent sharpener with 2 holes tat sharpens wood then lead is NOT good for these pencils. Great for others, but not these. Overall very happy with them and would recommend to anyone

> 24 hourI am a cabinet maker and have become extremely frustrated with Ticonderoga pencils(spelling). I have burnt through boxes of there #3’s and actually threw them away. These are spendy but are well worth the price
