> 3 dayYes, its expensive but if you want something that works great, is durable, and keeps your bikes out of the way, this is it! Perhaps you get what you pay for is an appropriate thought here.

> 3 dayI spent a lot of time researching vertical wall mounts before purchasing the SteadyRack. My main focus was to find something that was easy enough for my daughter and wife to use, as they were unable to take their bikes off the wall or put them back up for that matter using the standard hook type solution that is sold by most big chain hardware stores. Im very happy with this solution so far, my wife and daughter can now get their bike off the wall, and put them back. The fact that you can swivel the mount side to side is a nice touch, as you can move other bikes out of the way when dealing with your bike. Obviously these are much more expensive than a hook, however, if your the type that appreciates simplicity and flexibility, you wont be disappointed. I ended up mounting three bikes on the wall, I ended up putting 16 between each SteadyRack, I mounted the middle bike (mine) about 7-8 inches higher than the other two so that the handlebars would not interfere with each other, keeping in the mind that the two on the end would be easier to get up and down for my wife and daughter (lower to floor). I left room on the left and right side, so the bikes on the end can be swiveled out the way if needed. I did not use the mounting bolts that came with the kit, as the studs did not line up in my preferred location, I purchased 75 pound drywall screw kit, I used 3 of the 4 mounting holes on the top and bottom, I suppose you could use all 4 mounting spots if you wanted, however, it seems very secure using the top 3 for me. Follow the install instructions for height off the ground, as you dont want to mount it to high off the ground or it will be harder for your wife and kids to deal with their bikes. Hope this helps. Great product !!!

> 3 dayI bought this about 2 months ago I think and have had my bike pulled in and out of it a ton of times but still it’s holding really well. Now one thing to note is that this product is advertised as being able to be installed anywhere but in reality it’s best to instal on a wall stud to insure it won’t fall especially if it’s for a heavy mountain bike like mine. The arm easily swings the bike with a light push and shows no signs of strain. The bottom tire holder isn’t perfectly fitting for the tires I have on however that’s not too big of a problem for me. Overall great product that is really underpriced.

> 3 dayMy kids put their bikes away into this bike rack which means its a success! Ive tried EVERY bike rack solution that exists...hooks on the front tire, hooks on the frame, suspended from the ceiling, floor racks, etc. The kids never put them away because they said it was too hard...or they took up too much space...floor racks. They put them away into the SteadyRack. I also love them because I can install them very close to one another reducing the amount of overall space needed for bike storage. TIP: google steadyrack spacing guide and do the staggered installation...instructions say about 13 1/2, I moved them even closer at 12 and it works. We just sold our house and the buyer requested we leave the racks. I immediately bought and installed 5 more racks for our new home.

Greater than one weekI have limited space in my garage and 4 bikes to store. This system is by far the most efficient and user friendly I have ever used. All my bikes are securely held and very easily removed for use. They allow you to swing the bikes to the side for more space, etc. I wish I had found them earlier. My only advise is that originally when installing the racks using their measurements, I found my rear tire about 3+ off the floor. This made it difficult for my children to put the bikes on and off. I lowered the mount so that the rear tire is only 1 off the floor and it is now extremely easy for even my 9 year old to use. Its actually harder for her to wheelie her bike to get it into position than it is to actually mount the bike in the rack.

> 3 dayWe had bike hooks on an Ikea Elfa garage rack. It was hard to get a full size bike on to those and the rubber stuff on the hooks kept ripping and coming off. Major pain. Installed one of these for my wifes bike and it works great. I will be reconfiguring our wall storage to accommodate more of these. One caution: the listing says the standard size will work up to 2.4 tires. it wont Ive tried Furthermore, the box it comes in says maximum size is 2.2 I was able to get my sons 2.25 tires to work with very little room to spare, but my 2.35 front tire will NOT work. My advice -- if your tires are bigger than 2.2 get the mountain version.

> 3 daySee my detailed product review for the regular Steadyrack. I love it. As for the Fender Rack specifically, I read about possible interference of the fender supports & the rack, when placing the bike on the rack & how to handle that. The first time I put my bike up, I encountered this interference, but I have to chalk that up to the simple learning curve - because it hasnt happened since that first day. One thing to be prepare to address: When I pop my bike up to get my front tire on the rack, my rear fender hits the concrete floor. (The grinding noise is enough to let you know youre scraping paint off the fender. Mine wasnt too brutal, but it could have been worse.) My beach cruiser is 44 lbs. so its not necessarily easy to lift it up. I place a small rubber mat on the floor there when I put my bike on & off the rack. Even a thin rubber-backed rug would be enough, but its certainly something to be aware of... This is not enough reason to avoid the purchase. Just prepare for it. This product is solid and it works great to organize our family bikes. Photo attached.
