Superb portable area lighting! Ive now taken this light on a number of camping trips. Bright (when needed, can be dimmed), night vision-preserving (when needed, e.g. when star gazing), versatile, easy to use ... on table top or hanging in tent/cabin. Uses long lasting D cells great, though Id be delighted to acquire a rechargeable AA version.

I love this lantern. It worked like a charm and provided me with plenty of light. I also loved how I could hang it from the top of my tent and reach up to turn it on or off. I’m so glad I had it for my first camping trip.

I cant think of a better lantern then this. Its smaller than I thought I would be, but very bright and perfect for emergencies, camping, etc.

Great price for what you get. The clip on the top is very handy and easy to use.

Got this as part of my “hurricane” gear. Works great, lasts a long time and has several settings.
