Very bright, light adjustment and red light features are nice, good battery usage. Just wish it would compact for transport.

This is a fabulous little lantern. Several choices for light intensity, battery indicator on the power button, well made with lots of little extras. Very well designed. Im sorry its made in China, but I think almost all small lanterns are made there. In any event, I am very happy with this small lantern and would recommend it.

Recently bought this to use as a replacement for a propane powered lantern. Initially used rechargeable AA batteries in the D-cell adapters, which came pre-charged. Didnt last quite 12 hours on high. Used regular alkaline batteries in the same adapters and it did work on high for 12 hours. Very versatile, with carabiner-like clips on the top and bottom, plus the ability to hang it from a tree branch using the carrying handle. Very bright. Perfect for late night runs to the out-house, it illuminated roughly a 20-30 foot radius around itself. It was helped by snow, but it would absolutely do the job regardless. I suggest either true D-cell batteries or alkaline batteries in the adapters, unless you have high performance rechargeable batteries. Enthusiastically recommend you purchase this product if you are looking for a robust lantern that is bright and versatile.

I absolutely love this lantern. Its great for camping as it is for emergencies. It doesnt kill batteries while not in use.

Very nice small lantern. I bought it because it ran on AA batteries. Bonus was it has magnets in addition to hooks, so you can stick it almost anywhere! Also, a very bright light - my daughter nabbed it. Im buying more for gifts!
