Its a bit pricey, but it appears to be well made.

My son loves his bike! And he loves that it looks like the big kid bikes. I like the bike, but have a few complaints. I think the front is too loose and moves around too easily for little kids (my son is 2). I like that there is a place to put their feet when they get older, but that part is in the way right now. If hes wearing shorts while riding (were in Texas, so short are a must), the bars rub the insides of his legs. Itll mess him up sometimes and cause him to fall. It doesnt seem to be an issue when wearing pants. Overall the bike is very sturdy, lightweight, and good quality.

My two year old nephew rides this all over the place. It has taught him great balance and he loves it. I got it for his birthday and it goes in the trunk of the car to the kids ball games, and sporting events. One time, he excitedly rushed out of the car upon arrival and to the trunk, only to realize the trunk was empty. Mom had forgotten to pack Ryders Strider and he was not a happy little camper. Now he sees it put in the trunk personally before he will get in the car. Super awesome machine.

I really love this bike. My son is a pro at it. We got him a pedal bike and he still prefers this one. It is super lightweight. I can carry it in one hand while riding my bike when going to pick my son up at preschool. BUT the seat is too hard. He rode for about an hour yesterday and refused to ride it today because he is still sore.
