> 3 dayMy daughter got this on her second birthday, and she took to it right away. She was able to figure out balance, and now can go pretty fast on it. Its grown with her as she has gotten taller, and she will be ready for a real bike with no problem in a year or so. Its also super sturdy and has held up extremely well to a toddlers energy. The tires look practically new, eventhough she rides it all the time. I know Ill be able to use this bike for kid #2 and #3 when they get old enough.

> 3 dayDon’t waste your money on a new one. Buy used. These things are durable so they last. Also because the kids outgrow them so quickly you only end up using it for a few months. (At least that’s all we did). Balance bikes are good but honestly they don’t help your kid learn to peddle and they start to rely on coasting (again in my experience). Just my 2 cents.

Greater than one weekMy son started on this bike at 1.5 years old with the seat all the way down. He is now two months shy of his second birthday and able to coast down hills and holding his feet up in perfect balance. Assembly and disassembly of the bike is relatively easy as Ive packed the bike in our checked luggage for several flights. Id also recommend the Lazer PNuts MIPS helmet to go along with it.

> 3 dayMy preemie son loves his Strider. It took many months of him scooting around on this bike, but one day we came to a hill after seeing lots of bigger kids and adults coasting down, he just went for it, and shot down the hill like a missile. Now he wants to ride every minute of every day. He still has trouble pedaling a tricycle because of his developmental delays, but he can cruise and coast all day on his strider. These bikes are revolutionary.
