19-11-2024With child number 3 we decided to try the balance bike. Hes had it for 2 months now (he just turned 2) and is so close to coasting with it. Easy to assemble and so far seems very sturdy. It was amazingly intuitive for my son - he hopped right on and started walking. Adjusting it to fit his height and inseam was a bit of a challenge, but finding the right spot took only about 10 minutes of trial and error. He has ridden on the back of my bike for awhile now and watching his brother and sister ride, so he was eager to control his own bike. I think that helped his motivation some. We plan to use it more extensively next year. Im hoping we can take it to an easy dirt trail so he can do his own mountain biking (we have done some simple local trails with him in a child seat and seems to like it so far).

> 3 dayMy son is almost 4 and he was able to pick this up right after I put it together. He did not required any guidance at all. He feels confident in turning the bike to the point he goes around inside the house (may be not a good thing). This bike is so light weight that he can pick it up and take it in and out the house without any assistance. Product quality is excellent.

> 3 dayOur 2 year old loves this. He is already great at balancing and turning. I can tell that a bike with pedals is going to be a super easy transition for him. I wish theyd had these when we were kids. A million times more fun than training wheels. Love the foam tires. Not as shock absorbent as tires with air, but toddlers are naturally shock-absorbent anyway. Its great to never have to worry about tire pressure. The Sport model was definitely the right choice, with the padded handle bars and easy adjustments. He beats this thing up pretty good (including trying to ride it through the snow) and it still looks new. Works great even for small kids with short legs. I was worried about this, since my son is in single digit percentile for height. He measured at the bare minimum for inseam length, but when the bike arrived, he didnt even need it to be on the lowest setting. Seriously, Strider could charge 3 times as much for these things and it would still be worth it. LOVE this bike.

Greater than one weekMy three year old picked this up quickly and has so much fun. I was wondering if he would figure it out due to his cautious personality but he loved it right away I think because it reminds him of Daddy’s dirt bike. Anyone who sees him riding is very intrigued with how well he rides.

> 3 dayUpd: Its been two years since I purchased it (2018) to my 2 y.o. daughter. Unfortunately, she wasnt interested in biking at 2 y.o. but started at the age of 3. Shes almost 4 now and, damn, shes so good and fast at this. Just make sure to calculate the right size for your kid weight and height. Ive seen some comparisons about Woom 1, but frankly, this is all subjective, since all kids are different. My daughter is happy with this balancing bike, so we are - the parents

> 3 dayThe handle bar support was all scratched up. Also there are no markings to show the correct height to put the handle bars at like it showed in the directions.

> 3 dayMy 2 year old loves her Strider! Took to it right away and cant wait to go to the indoor bike park with her BMXing big brother now! The bike was so easy to put together and is extremely lightweight which makes it so easy to transport and store. Shipping time was a bit ridiculous now that Ive cancelled Prime...took close to three weeks, including a week past the original dates given. But the product itself was definitely worth the money and I know this will make transitioning to a pedal bike in a few years a breeze!

19-11-2024I like the concept of balance bikes my son puts more of an effort into riding this bike. He got a tricycle for his 1st birthday he didn’t get on it for a year. His strider biker as soon as it was taken out the box he was on it.. nd
