> 24 hourFor the price, this is a great product. I used 2 5meter rolls to light up 2 steps approximately the length of each roll. The top step has lasted about 3months outdoors in Colorado. The bottom step has already failed, but only half has gone out. So I will replace and triple check my connections to make certain it has been properly sealed. It’s imperative that the blue tape light last for it represents the thin blue line! Which is for all fallen law enforcement personnel killed in the line of duty. > 24 hourI needed to replace my existing lights under my RV awning because my old light finally quit working. The price was great and I received them in one day. They were easy to install but I did order some 3M tape that is specifically designed for LED strip lights. They work great and we’re exactly what I needed.

> 24 hourPut these on my boat went out on the water and within 1.5 they were burnt up and sparking as I was loading my boat up. Any longer on the water and we would have been in full flames.

> 24 hourI needed to replace a burned out rope light in a cabinet in my motor home. And while I required only 18 of light strip I figured I could utilize these elsewhere in the coach. This worked perfectly and is very bright. Now I can read the meters and gauges in the cabinet without a flashlight. I use the remainder of the strips to update some fluorescent fixtures when they burn out. Good quality, the adhesion is very good and they are the perfect color temperature of task lighting.

> 24 hourI have used for 2 projects. 1 was on brand new shellaced shelves. Adhesive stuck great then fell off 2 days later. I ended up using 3m foam tape to hold. 2nd project was a large mirror frame. Surface was clean latex paint. Same result. Stuck aggressively. Even pulled paint off if repositioned. 2 days later entire light strip was laying on the counter. I need to get another light strip for this application.

> 24 hourI bought these lights to install on my patio boat bimini top to provide interior lighting at night. I am very pleased with how it came out. The adhesive backing is pretty good, but I know from experience with similar products that you have to install clips every 12 to 18 to keep them looking tight and clean. For this installation Im going to use zip ties though. The cut points are every few inches. I bought two 16 lights and cut each in half to make 8 strands for the bimini aluminum cross pieces. For connectors I used interior style connectors and peeled back some of the waterproofing to expose the contacts. On a previous installation I tried using piercing vampire style connectors and they didnt work well. The color temperature and brightness are perfect for my application -- warm white and not piercingly bright.

> 24 hourThe tape is pretty strong and if you misplace it, then it’ll rip bits of your wall off so be careful of that. I’ve never used LED lights before and this is my first time so I’ll say the brightness is very bright and I recommend having some other light on or it’ll hurt your eyes if you use it too long in the dark. It’s easy to install but you just have to be careful if you want it perfect and straight because like I said, the tape is strong.

> 24 hourThese seem like fine LEDs at a fair price. I believe Im not alone at running into adhesion problems. In my case, I was sticking the LEDs to a painted steel I-beam, so I think the surface was clean and had a good texture for adhesion, and temperature cant be a cause of failure (because the I-beam would dissipate any heat immediately). However, this was in a high-humidity basement environment, and so Im not terribly surprised that the adhesive only worked for a few days. In all honesty, I was expecting to need to do something else to adhere the LEDs rather than using the built-in adhesive strip, so Im not terribly disappointed.
