Greater than one weekI have a TI-84 plus that I love but my math Calculus teacher doesnt allow graphing calculators on tests so I decided to buy this one. I was really impressed with the visual interpretation of roots and exponents. It makes it easy to look at understand immediately. 5^(3X) is shown with the 3x part above the 5 like you would handwrite it. I have used older models of this calculator and some Casios and this is easily worth the $5 extra. Everything about it works, and it works well. MathPrint is ingenious and allows you to visually see mathematical things. Like if you want an exponent on a normal calculator it would show an ^, but with mathprint it actually shows the number as a superscript on the first number. Pros: -Good display -Good visual mathematical interpretation (MathPrint) -Find y values for given xs for a function -Keys have good tactile feel and register every press (as opposed to a lot of other competitors) Cons: -Funky cover, (clip on vs. slide) but not a big issue at all. Easy to get used to. -No integral functions (which is a plus for me since I wouldnt be able to use it on a test if it did have that) Conclusion: This is a great $15 scientific calculator and I highly recommend it.

> 3 dayThis scientific calculator is very nice the instructor gave us the exact order number we bought them last year and I bought an extra one this year in case my granddaughters calculator just stolen hers held up all through her first year in high school thats how good it is 9th graders are tough on stuff. The instructor likes them so much that she puts it on all of the brochures now she has the sophomore Junior and senior math department instructors doing the same. Wally world doesnt cut it this calculator I bought on Amazon is lasting its well made the batterys last long the keys have not lost their color of the numbers and it was used a lot.

> 3 dayTexas Instruments came late to the game with this MultiView idea (or WriteView or whatever you want to call it). Apparantly, they decided Casio was eating into this corner of their market share so they rushed this little baby out. It has a few little issues. For example, number squared to the fifth power looks exactly the same as number to the 25th power! Not exactly a bug I guess, but definitely an issue already addressed and solved in the Casio/Sharp GoodView(TM) models. So they made up for it with hardware! This little baby has the nicest keyboard and display Ive seen on any calculator. The keyboard reminds me an old IBM selectric, except with shorter strokes. Its as good as any older HP model in my opinion (but different), and you get a nice satisfying CLICK on every press. You always know your keystroke was completed and youll never get a double entry. And the display is large, with great contrast control, easily viewable from any angle. I have a lot of calculators laying around here, but for simple math I find myself grabbing the TI-30XS more and more often. I suspect theyre losing money on the hardware. Either that, or I just lucked out with my turn at the assembly line, or theyve come up with some revolutionary new manufacturing techniques. For me, it was steal.

> 3 dayThe calculator works great. It has all the standard SCI features, plus two fields to manipulate and a memory log to call back solutions from. Definitely recommended.

> 3 dayMy daughter felt this product was great. It’s the exact model they use in school. They cannot bring them home so having this here is super helpful with homework.
