> 3 dayI had a TI-nspire before hand, but upon entering pharmacy school, they dont allow calculators that are basically computers. So I needed one that was consistent with what the NAPLEX allows for test taking. I chose this one because of the multiview feature which is very nice (I like being able to see the prev. calculation that I just did). Overall 10/10 buy it

> 3 dayNeeded it for school and is an easy calculator to use. Not too simple to wear I can’t do certain functions but not too complex where I get lost

> 3 dayIt’s THE mandatory calculator for the GED, and on the list for other types of exams where you’re not allowed to use a programmable calculator. I hope it works because how else would I verify it can do roots properly? Travel back in time to the era of slide rules?

> 3 dayI coach students who take the ACT, SAT, GED/HiSET, DAT, and MCAT, and I own 3 Texas Instruments calculators: TI 36X Pro, TI-84 Plus CE, and the TI-30XS (item being reviewed). I also taught High School Math (9 - 12). While the T1-84 Plus CE has loads of function, the TI-30XS is the easiest to learn and use. It is perfect for the ACT and GED/HiSET Math. The TI-36X Pro is nice, but you can execute the same functions with less steps using the TI-30XS. If you are majoring in Math or any fields that require complex calculations/graphing and plan to keep your calculator until grad school and beyond, the TI-84 Plus CE ($150.00) is a good choice. But, if you need a clean and simple calculator for ACT, SAT, GED/HiSET Math, save some cash and get the TI-30XS. You wont regret it.
