Greater than one weekThis is pretty expensive technology for you what you get in your hand. What you get in support from TI and the educational market they now own probably justifies the price point. If you take the time to learn what the Nspire can do, you will be math literate for a long time.

> 3 dayThis calculator has a million mathematical functions built in. Each day I learn a new feature that makes me appreciate this calculator more. It does factoring of polynomials, double and triple integrals all symbolic and numerical. No need for a separate financial calculator. This calculator has many financial functions built in. Also the built-in financial solver is beautiful. Overall, a great cal

> 3 dayThis calculator will help you cheat or check your work. Unlike older calculators you can put the problems in just as they appear in written form. Downside is you dont learn anything besides operating calculator.

Greater than one weekCant ever go wrong with a TI-Nspire. Ive used the normal TI-Nspire CX at school during all my 4 years in high school, so Ive become fairly comfortable with operating it. But, I felt it was time for an upgrade, so I chose this, and Ive got to say, best investment ever. As an engineering college student, this calculator really helps save time. With its CAS, solving integrals and taking complicated derivatives couldnt have been any easier. The buttons (arguably), in my opinion, feel very nice to click and make a satisfying clicking sound, which I like (compared to the normal CX). It has functions from solving systems, to analyzing statistical data, and you can even program your own functions using TI-Basic. All in all, this is definitely a must-buy for any college student taking high level engineering classes. One thing to note is that this (and many other CAS calculators), are not allowed on AP math exams. Also, as Im sure youve heard. graphing calculators are not allowed in lower college math classes either (ex: Cal 1, Cal 2, or even Cal 3). It is, however, allowed on the SAT and upper-level engineering/science courses in college, at least in my experience.

> 3 dayThis thing is awesome. When calculating something like cos(pi/4), it automatically gives you sqrt2/2 instead of some long decimal. It also finds the derivative function rather than just the derivative at a point. Additionally, it will store an entire funtion, so you dont have to retype some long complicated funtion over and over, you can just hit (A), which the calculator knows is that function. These are things other calculators cant do. Some say that its hard to figure out, but its relatively easy to learn. I will note that a lot of this extra stuff is only with the CAS model of the nspire, so make sure you get that CAS version. Either way, this is a pretty awesome calculator. Plus, its approved for AP Calc tests!

> 3 dayUpgraded to this calculator from a TI-89 Titanium. The interface takes some getting used to, but after you get accustomed to it, it is extremely versatile and much more powerful than the TI-89. While its not as powerful as a computer-based graphing calculator (obviously a computer is going to be more powerful than the tiny, relatively cheap calculator), its the best dedicated calculator Ive ever gotten my nerdy little hands on. The only downsides is that it isnt allowed on the ACT, but neither is the TI-89 Titanium, so if its between those two, pick this one! If your only use for the calculator is going to be high school classes and standardized tests, a TI-84 model may be right for you, since its unquestionably allowed.

> 3 dayI use this for AP Calc, and it is extremely useful. Because it is CAS, it has so many functions and can really help with homework if you know how to use it well. The battery life is a bit questionable however, as for mine, it goes down and up by 25% intervals. The battery only lasts a couple of hours for me, but that could be normal?

> 3 dayThe calculator has a great array of functions for different kinds of math, and good software capabilities. Main drawback is that the UI and controls are difficult to navigate, will require a lot of getting used to
