> 3 dayThis calculator is awesome. It has issues doing some things that you could do with Mathways phone app, but this calculator is still amazing. I use it for my calculus class and it has the ability to solve Limits and Derivatives. Even if youre not doing hard math with it, if youre willing to learn how to use the calculator id recommend. The UI is kind of overwhelming admittedly so be mindful of that.

> 3 dayThe only thing that I do not care for is the Graphics interface for displaying Calculus derivatives. I can not find anything very tutorial that will allow me to enter a family of equations required for (for example) the spring-mass system or pendulum equations with damping and resistance. I am probably just not doing it right but I can not figure out what I am doing wrong and I have bought and read all 3 books relating to the TI-Nspire. none deal with second-order families of derivatives.

> 3 dayThis calculator has a million mathematical functions built in. Each day I learn a new feature that makes me appreciate this calculator more. It does factoring of polynomials, double and triple integrals all symbolic and numerical. No need for a separate financial calculator. This calculator has many financial functions built in. Also the built-in financial solver is beautiful. Overall, a great cal

> 3 dayI only wish I had bought this calculator sooner! I had a pretty old TI-84 for most of my engineering math classes and I hated it. With the inspire you can go back to previous calculations and change any value that you want and press enter and it recalculates it(honestly the best part because during an exam re calculating or calculating with a single different value manually can take a lot of time if you have a long equation and time is VERY critical in some of these classes), and when you hit enter it formats it for you so that you can make sure that you put in the values and parenthesis correctly. I took engineering statistics twice(the first time failing it with an F and the second time getting an A), and although I had changed my study methods the second time to be more effective, I definitely give part of the credit to this calculator.

> 3 dayI used this for both of my college algebra classes! The only bad thing I have to say about this is that I wished I would have had this in high school! It would have saved countless hours of math homework time! But I am glad that I know how to do the problems without a calculator, but it does help save A LOT of time. If you are getting wrong answers, it is because you are not entering in the stuff correctly. My teacher showed the class how to enter in the problems so I had no trouble with it. You can google how to use it if you are confused.

> 3 dayI use this for AP Calc, and it is extremely useful. Because it is CAS, it has so many functions and can really help with homework if you know how to use it well. The battery life is a bit questionable however, as for mine, it goes down and up by 25% intervals. The battery only lasts a couple of hours for me, but that could be normal?

Greater than one weekThis calculator is very capable of all sorts of math (specifically the CAS version). If you are a student and your class allows this calculator, it takes much of the leg work out of math.

> 3 dayThe calculator has a great array of functions for different kinds of math, and good software capabilities. Main drawback is that the UI and controls are difficult to navigate, will require a lot of getting used to

> 3 dayTexas Instruments has a reputation for quality hand held calculators and the NSpire CXII CAS is no exception. Like any device this rich in features, there is a learning curve to master it. However, TI offers plenty of support with downloadable guides to get you started or to master their devices, including a general and Python programming tutorial in memory! My only question is why this is not available in Japan? I shopped many stores and although all the models of Casio and Sharp were available there was never any TI products. Amazon Japan offered but more expensive than Amazon.com even with international shipping. I hope TI does a better job of international marketing for their fine products.
