> 24 hourI normally use a homemade black wash, but I wanted to try some other colors and see what professional shades were like. I was always hesitant because of how small the bottles are, but I found out that a little bit goes a long way. One of the coolest thing is that it came with a painting guide. At first, I thought it was a catalogue because it was so thick. Its a nice addition, especially for people who are new to painting miniatures. The book covers all aspects of painting your minis, not just a guide for shades, so dont throw it out. My only complaint is that one of the bottles was half open, so a bit of the shade leaked out and stuck to one of the dropper lids. Im really lucky it wasnt dried out or got all over everything.

> 24 hourI prefer Citadel for pure reason they flow into cracks better, but Army Painter washes are a good ruuner up when it comes to a wash. I use them more as a glaze than a wash.
