> 3 dayI love this wash set. I havent found any set close to this quality with as low a price. There is absolutely no need to buy citadel, or the other better known brands. This brand will be the gamers standard in no time.

11-06-2025These are ink washes, as opposed to regular acrylic paint. If you dont know what that is, stop and do yourself a favor and get acquainted with all the paints miniature painters like to use. In a nutshell, these are used for adjusting tones and picking out details, not for basecoating (in most cases). Do not confuse these with the dips. Even though both are branded Quickshade, the dip isnt merely a large quantity of these, but is oil based with a varnishing component. These are your standard ink washes, comparable to GW shades, P3 washes, etc. That out of the way, these have become my go to washes. They are thinner and have less gloss than GWs new line, they come in the nice dropper bottles, and you get more for your money. People who used to use the old GW shades like Badab Black and Devlan Mud often cite the Dark Tone and Strong Tone in this pack as the true replacements rather than the new GW Nuln Oil/Agrax Earthshade, and after using them all I am inclined to agree. These airbrush quite well too, though doing so goes through ink very quickly unless you thin it.

Greater than one weekWork well. The only problem is that I receiverd two red tones and no green tone.

> 3 dayAs the booklet shows, the wash gets into the crevices and shows more detail, very happy with the result. Makes the color pop and leaves a nice shine. Worth the price.

> 3 daySure you can make a wash out of any paint, but unless you are an advanced painter, chances are you will get the thin the paint incorrectly. This set takes all the guesswork out of using washes to improve your painting. The washes can be applied easy and quickly, instantly improving any miniature you use them on. Well worth the money. One small gripe is that I wish there were more washes of various colors instead of shades of brown, but I guess I will use them with humanoid figures more.

> 3 dayThis is exactly what I needed. Many people use citadel washes, but I like army painter products. I feel like a dropper bottle is better than a little tub. I don’t have to waste so much with the dropper bottle. And this stuff is perfect for beginners. As being one, I can tell you that this has increased the quality of my minis is far beyond what I could do before I had these. Excellent product, will be going back to army painter for more.
