> 3 dayArmy Paints are solid acrylic paints for miniatures! Droppers are easy to dispense and not over pour out of. They have a number of affordable products. I’d recommend to a new miniature painter to get a set of these and paint the Owlbear step by step they have.

Greater than one weekThese are ink washes, as opposed to regular acrylic paint. If you dont know what that is, stop and do yourself a favor and get acquainted with all the paints miniature painters like to use. In a nutshell, these are used for adjusting tones and picking out details, not for basecoating (in most cases). Do not confuse these with the dips. Even though both are branded Quickshade, the dip isnt merely a large quantity of these, but is oil based with a varnishing component. These are your standard ink washes, comparable to GW shades, P3 washes, etc. That out of the way, these have become my go to washes. They are thinner and have less gloss than GWs new line, they come in the nice dropper bottles, and you get more for your money. People who used to use the old GW shades like Badab Black and Devlan Mud often cite the Dark Tone and Strong Tone in this pack as the true replacements rather than the new GW Nuln Oil/Agrax Earthshade, and after using them all I am inclined to agree. These airbrush quite well too, though doing so goes through ink very quickly unless you thin it.

> 3 dayThis is a perfect set of inks for bringing out details in miniatures. A lot of great color options in this set and they mix together well. Any painter can get a lot of mileage out of this set and its a good price. They are especially good for beginners because the application technique is simple. The only downside to the army painter inks is that they add a little gloss to the miniature. This is easily fixed with a matte spray at the end.

> 3 dayGreat color and coverage. Flows well into lower areas of miniatures and works great both thinned down and undiluted
