Using it for video on my trip to places that don’t get internet . Work great. Using it with Mypin usb to hdmi media player. Works perfect don’t need a computer for it.

Its a hard drive. Seems fast enough and reliable so far. But theres a blue indicator light as bright as a cheap flashlight, easily enough to light up a corner of your room if youre unlucky enough to plug this into a computer installed in a room you sleep in. I like to keep my room dark for sleeping (as every bit of sleep research youll ever read suggests) -- and that means banishing light pollution like this. Unfortunately, the LED shines out through a raised clear plastic piece that wraps around the corner of the case. Much harder to black out than a single pinpoint light. Very poor design decision here. I will have to go through some work to blind this thing, and frankly Id just recommend avoiding it altogether.

I’ve only ever had the best experiences with Toshiba. I had 3 prior to this for how many years I can’t remember and they’ve only have ever been good which is why I opted for this brand when getting more capacity. This is a person who have tried MOST major brands over the years. All those are on the side waiting for the right tech to be able to retrieve what I lost while Toshiba steadily does the job

This external hard drive works as expected. So far no issues. I transferred data from my PC to the drive without any issues. Nice compact backup device.

If not used on a PS4 it would be fine. For backup storage it would be great. It is a tad slow for a PS4 and causes slowdown. Not a big issue as I will just get a faster drove for my PS4 and use this for my PC GOG game backup drive.

Muy bien producto a un precio razonable. Muy fácil y sencillo de utilizar. Solo lo conectas al equipo y ya!!. Tiene excelente almacenamiento y es muy fácil de Transportar. Justamente lo que necesitaba y esperaba recibir. Gracias!

Good seller & External Hard Drive

This portable hard drive is so much smaller than my ancient one, and its great! I love how it powers up just being connected to the computer; and doesnt need a separate electrical connection. I got the 1TB drive for my new M1 iMac. I was worried about connecting to a Mac, but I had no issues whatsoever. Ive included a couple of pics to show what I had to do: choose the hard drive from the list so this one is now default, and then erase the Toshiba drive so it could be formatted to work with TimeMachine (there was nothing on it to begin with since it was brand new, so erasing was easy). After that everything proceeded as usual for a backup. It took about 1 1/2 hours to do the initial backup of the entire computer (around 500GB). I am super pleased with this purchase and love how easy it is to use.

Just what I wanted !! Moved some large tutorial videos off my computer, easy peasy !! Works great !
