08-06-2025If not used on a PS4 it would be fine. For backup storage it would be great. It is a tad slow for a PS4 and causes slowdown. Not a big issue as I will just get a faster drove for my PS4 and use this for my PC GOG game backup drive.

> 3 dayIt works really well on my laptop. I put my entire Steam library on it because I was running out of space on my internal drive. It did not work with my Android phone because it wanted to format it, which I wasnt about to let happen since Id just put all my games on. And I have yet to test it with my iPad, so Ill update when I do. Overall I love this drive and would highly recommend it. Its slim, light and portable. Its also quiet. The blue light can be a bit annoying though since it flashes pretty quickly when using the drive (reading or writing to/from it).

> 3 dayI bought this drive expecting a solid state drive because that is what is listed in the product description. However, as soon as I plugged this drive in I could feel it spinning. So I did some digging for reviews online and it turns out that this is for sure not an SSD. Im very disappointed. Aside from that, the storage reports as 1.8 TB (which is expected), and it does connect without issue to both my PC and MacBook Pro. Ill keep the drive, as the price is good, but I wish I hadnt been lied to by the product description.
