I purchased this umbrella mainly because I wanted a compact size to fit in my bag on days when I was uncertain it would rain. Unfortunately, after about 3-5 uses, it broke. The umbrella wouldnt fully open. However, with the limited warranty (a secondary factor in my purchase decision), i was able to get it replaced. I reached out, and got a response very quickly. Replacement was also delivered to me in a timely manner. Customer service followed up to ensure product works fine.

So when you push the close button, only the fabric part folds, not the extension. The problem is, once you pop the umbrella, you have to collapse it to the start position completely to open again. I find this extremely inconvenient. When you get into a car, you just want to close the umbrella, chuck it on the floor, right? Now when you are getting out of the car, you have to close the extension with both hands and cant get away from getting soaked! You cant manually open the umbrella by pulling up the metal part that holds the fabric like other normal umbrellas. It doesnt lock! Kind of crazy they designed it this way.

The button doesn’t works smoothly. Hard to push to open it. And sometimes it’s opens itself.

Its a good umbrella; one of the few that Ive had where the material didnt rip at the end of the spokes. In terms of operating it, 4 stars. It does open and close automatically, but upon close it should also come down and lock, which is doesnt. 5 starts for customer service. My umbrella stopped locking shot. They replaced it and sent a new one for free, no questions asked. I like a company that stands behind its product; hence the 5 stars.

Great umbrella that can fit 2 people. It is a pretty good size and weight for travel, but honestly is still slightly bulky. BUT, you will not find a lightweight travel umbrella that will actually hold up in the wind and this one definitely did hold up really well. My husband wanted this one, I wanted a smaller lighter weight one, and Im super glad we got this one as it was so much nicer!

The box the umbrella came in reads Purple but the umbrella inside was navy blue. I dont even see a navy blue umbrella as an option. If the color is important, dont trust what you see online. Other than that it seems like a sturdy umbrella. Originally, I received a blue umbrella but had purchased a purple one. The box had the color listed as purple. The company very generously has replaced the blue umbrella with a purple and did not require me to return the blue umbrella. I really appreciate the timely response by the company. I had my first chance to use the umbrella this morning and it worked very well. Some umbrellas dont open all the way when the button is pressed but this one opened quickly and fully. I bought this umbrella barely a little over a month ago & have used it maybe 5 times. Very mild wind easily reverts and folds the umbrella. I opened my umbrella this last time in light wind and frizzing rain, & the rod completely snapped. This umbrella barely lasted over a month and now the return window has closed. Super upset and disappointed & now have to buy another umbrella
