Greater than one weekThe first thing I noticed with this umbrella was that it felt incredibly sturdy. Considering the great price, I was really impressed with it right away. I just tested it out the next day during a very rainy/windy storm and while it looked like it was about to flip inside out (it was really windy), it did not! Consider me impressed. My only complaint is that it’s a bit on the heavy side so it might be cumbersome to carry with you in a smaller bag but it seems like a quality product so far. Happy with my purchase!

> 3 dayI am happy with my purchase of the Tradmall travel umbrella. It is very sturdy as well as lightweight. The ergonomic handle is comfortable and the umbrella is very easy to open. My problem has always been closing these types of automatic umbrellas. The force & struggle to which you have to use is often ridiculous. This one is not too bad, a little hard to clasp once closed but definetly better then most other brands I have tried.

> 3 dayWell I have to say this company really care if your satisfied with their products. They sent me the wrong umbrella my first order i guess they saw my Review an saw that I was not pleased with the incorrect umbrella they had sent. Right away the company contacted me an I received the beautiful blue umbrella. Thanks for your speedy correction.

> 3 dayTook a chance on a nicer umbrella than the typical ones I get from the dollar-type stores. Im impressed with the quality on this one. The handle is nice and grippy which helps when its wet. I really like the dual use button that not only releases the umbrella, but also retracts the canopy when youre done. It makes it easy to fold up when you have your hands full. The sturdy wrist strap is a nice underrated feature. I was able to easily slip it on and off my wrist with gloves on.

> 3 dayIt’s odd that I would be writing about an umbrella but having lived in the UK for years and going through dozens of umbrellas in my time, I feel like I can appreciate the finer points of a familiar device. What I love the most about this new compact umbrella are three features: firstly it is stronger than most and stands up to stronger wind since it has more ribs, secondly the handle is more ergonomic than most and easy to hold but the game changer is the way it closes! You push the button to open it as normal but you also push the button (hard) to close it too! No more pinched fingers!

> 3 dayIf there’s any wind this thing just turns inside out and leaves you to get soaked in the pouring rain.

> 3 dayI spent a long time trying to choose a new umbrella, and ended up with this one. Initially I was happy with my choice. It is very compact, and it opened nicely, although it is a little difficult to close. When it arrived, I would have given it 4 stars. Yesterday, however, as I started to unwrap the umbrella to open it, the button basically exploded. I dont even remember touching it; but suddenly the umbrella was expanding before I could get it outside my car. I shoved it through the door, then tried to push it fully open, but it would not stay entirely open either. I held it mostly-open in order to keep my mother and myself dry. (Fortunately it wasnt raining very hard.) Now it will not stay fully open OR fully closed, unless I use the velcro strap to hold it shut. Did I mention that I ordered the umbrella less than two months ago, and that this was only the third time I had used it?? Maybe I got a defective one somehow, but I am very disappointed in the lifespan and quality of this umbrella. I am emailing TradMall, but honestly, even if they replace it, I plan to find a more reliable alternative for regular day-to-day use.
