> 3 dayI bought these for the timer and the convince of being able to configure and switch on/off with my phone. But I ended up connecting it to my Alexa abs really surprised at how much I use it and how convenient it is to use voice commands to turn the light on. The only issue I have had is that it has disconnected a few times where I had to set it up again. Also when you set it up, you have to have WiFi on, Bluetooth, and everything else it asks for or it just doesn’t want to work. So I ended up letting it have all the access it wanted, set up the plug, then Turned off the access to the services in iPhone preferences.

Greater than one weekI ordered these to control Christmas decorations. They work, but are a nightmare to set up. The first one set up easy. The second one I had to reset three times. The last two were a nightmare. After several attempts I finally contacted Amazon for assistance as I figured they were defective. The person on chat had me do all of the same things I had already done several times to no avail, then handed it over to another representative who had me do the same things over again. When that was unsuccessful, she wanted to send me to another department but I was out of time and patience. I tried again later 5 more times and they finally connected. Not sure if I will purchase anymore or try a different brand next time. I will assess how well they work for a couple of months first.

> 3 dayI have TreatLife switches, outlets and dimmers all through my house. I love them. This item, like all their products, I have used, is super simple to install, integrates easily with Alexa (I do not use Google Home) and just works. I powered this new product up, switched my phone to 2GHz and fired up the Smart Life application. Note, I did not use the TreatLife application, I may reconsider if I see issues but all my other TreatLife products use this application so that is what I am using. Took less than 2 minutes to have the outlet up and running. Recovers quickly from a power hit and is similar in size to the other well-known products out there that I am using. It also has some nice features such as child lock, resume last state upon power restoration and the ability to enable/disable the small outlet active LED. There are also various timer modes. I have a used their tech support before and they are very responsive. Bottom line, this is a good product at a good price. I recommend it without hesitation.

Greater than one weekIve bought a few Treatlife light switches already and have been very pleased with them. I am glad to add the 4-pack of smart plugs to my collection of smart-controlled lights. The set up couldnt be any easier. After plugging them in and pressing the power button for 5 seconds, they are ready to pair. I used my existing Smart Home app that has my other devices configured and it recognized the new plug and walked through the set up process which took less than a minute. I easily added On/Off actions for the plugs and added them to Siri, so I can just say Hey Siri, switch 1 on to activate a switch. I didnt test Alexa/Google Home integration as I just let Siri handle things for me. I also added some of them into my on at sunset and off at bedtime automation schedules. These are small enough (2 7/8 wide, 1 7/16 high, 1 3/16 deep) to use just about anywhere. The manual on/off works just fine and is convenient enough to reach, though I mainly plan to use these for home automation. Make sure you have a 2.4 Ghz wifi network (not 5 Ghz) and youll be good to go in no time.

Greater than one weekAnother great product by Treatlife. Have their smart switches and love them. Glad they came out with these smart plugs. Works smoothly and as expected. The 15A /1800W is great to control higher wattage appliances. The plug is also smaller than other brands and small enough vertically to fit two in the same outlet pair. (Note: power strips have varied pitches between outlets, so depending on the particular power strip, the plugs may not fit on adjacent outlets. But there usually are enough outlets to space them out in that case.) The manual on/off button is on the side, which may or may not be convenient depending on how things are located. Something to consider if you plan to manually control the unit frequently. Of course, this is not a problem for voice control. App works well, Overall, a great product. Recommended.

> 3 dayThis was a splurge for me this past Christmas - Yeah, I know, $25 isnt that much of a splurge! But honestly, I didnt know if it was going to be worth it! But after reading a bunch of reviews on a bunch of different brands of wi-fi plugs, I decided to go with Treatlife. I dont use, or intend to ever purchase or use, any smart speakers to connect with these plugs, although I considered purchasing ones that worked with Apple Homelink, but they were always more expensive. I bought this 4-pack in time to put one on the Christmas tree, and a couple other lamps around the house. The app was easy to use to get started, and it didnt take too long to figure out how to set up rooms and scenes, with multiple plugs coming on simultaneously. The best part is that with Apple Shortcuts, I can say Hey Siri, turn my light on! And bam! Its on! Thats really handy if you use Hey Siri. Also a factor was the fact that these are 15 amp plugs. I use one of them to power my home studio! (Just a small mixer and two self-powered studio monitors.) Instead of reaching around to find the switch for all three units, I tap my phone or tell Siri to power it up. (One application I recently thought of that will most likely motivate my purchase of another set of these is charging smart devices. I hate the thought of leaving our iPad charging all night, as I know this is bad for the longevity of the battery. So using one of these with a timer set for 3-4 hours would allow me to set it to charge at bed time, and know that it wont over charge the battery for the last 4 or so hours Im asleep.) I highly recommend these if you are looking for a simple product to replace lamp timers, control small electronic devices, etc. They totally exceeded my expectations!

> 3 dayI have a light switch connected to an inconvenient outlet, so I plugged one in there, and a second to a lamp elsewhere, and programmed a rule that when the light switch one turns on the other turns on the lamp and it works perfectly ❤️

> 3 dayI’m not 100% happy with this product because the directions it comes with advise using a different remote than the Alexa app. I’m not a big fan of juggling remotes. If there’s another solution or explanation, I’d be happy to hear it.

> 3 dayI have been a user of smart home products for 10+ years. More recently, there are many wifi-connected devices available that are more flexible and much more affordable. Ive tried several different smart plugs, and have been impressed with the Treatlife offering. They are easy to setup, program, and work reliably. Im also glad that they work with the generic Smart Life app, as some of the others will only work with their own proprietary variant. The Treatlife app is quite good on its own. It also handles a full 15 amps, some of the others will only switch 10 amps, which could contribute to the wide form factor, which is the only downside I have found with the product.

20-11-2024This works just like the GE outlet that came with my Google Mini. Easy to use, just how it should be. The only issue I found is in the installation. In the Treatlife app, the outlet is found right away and pops up in a new window on the bottom. When I installed this way, I was unable to turn it on by the app, only by the physical button. Dont use that new window. You have to back out of that window. Install it manually, like you would any other device (with the + symbol). After installation, I was able to turn it on by the app, and the physical button. If you install like that, youll have no problems
