I love how convenient these plugs are. I use them for turning on Christmas lights, lamps, TV, entertainment center and curio lights all with a simple voice to Alexa! Another great feature is you can set up a routine by using the timer in the app so that lights turn on and off at a specific time. And, I love that you can control any plugged in device such as lights, TV while you are away from home in case you forgot to set a timer. No more walking in an unlighted room at night!

This is the first smart plug Ive installed and used. Its actually about 100 times better than any analog or legacy device. We had an old timer function unit with the mechanical dial for the aquarium we have and that thing seems like its always getting out of time with the clocks. This would work perfect for cycling a light on and off during the day. I used it through the Alexa app to power an LED overhead light. I love these things as they are ready to go right out of the box. As soon as I plugged it in, it was in pairing mode ready to connect. Installation took about 2 minutes. The box states 1800W max so if thats a limitation for you, consider something a little more heavy duty. The plug does take up a fair amount of space laterally, but theres plenty of space on a dual plug outlet to run this device and a regular plug in device.

There is an LED that shines when the plug is on and flashing when it is ready for pairing with the app. I already had the app on my phone from when I had installed another Treatlife product (actually several products). I just plugged the Smart Plug in and added the plug to the app. I did not need to use the included instructions. From the phone it is easy to remotely turn the plug on and off or create a schedule. or safety, a child safety setting is included to prevent accidentally activating the plug. it is very easy to create a regular schedule to turn on and off on any day or all seven days of the week. Other features include a 23 hour, 59 minute countdown, away times as well as an inching function. This means that the smart outlet will stay on for a preset time, up to 60 minutes and 59 seconds, when the plug is turned on.Im not sure if the manufacturer planned on allowing this to be a day or longer, but as it is now, it is slightly longer than an hour. I will use this product for a couple of things not met by other timers. During the Christmas season, I plan on setting the timer to set a daily/weekly schedule for Christmas tree lights. That way I dont need to remember to do it every day. The other use is to control a food dehydrator that sometimes has to run for several days. Most timers run for up to 24 hous, but this unit will work for the several-day cycle I need. This product works very well and is very easy to use.

These things are super easy to set up through their app and works flawless with Alexa.

I had several 3 yr old smart plugs from another manufacturer and one of them finally bit the dust - I tried to reset it and it totally refused to find the WiFi. I was concerned it might be an issue with my newish router, although all of my other smart devices didnt have an issue. So I set off to find a replacement with a few specific features - it needed to be heavy duty enough to run my coffee maker, it needed a built-in schedule function, and of course a good price. Voila, I found these Treatlife plugs with these features and a great price! It was so easy and fast to set up, especially compared to days of fighting with my old plug - practically instantaneous. My router was vindicated. The schedule feature works well and turns my coffee maker at on and off at different times, depending on day of the week. It works well with Alexa. Ive only set up one so far, so hopefully the rest go as smoothly. I also had occasion to contact Treatlife, and got a super fast response, which was impressive. Based on my limited experience, I would have no qualms about buying again or giving some as gifts.

I am very happy with the treatlife smart plugs overall. They work great, connected very easily to the smartlife app which gave me access to the timers and control from my phone. Once set up Alexa found it automatically (I already had my smartlife account connected to Alexa). Voice controls work great, so far timers are working great and you can make several on and off events on the schedule based on time of day as well as day of the week in the smartlife app. One feature I really like, you can control the switch with the small button on the side. So if your internet goes down or you dont have your phone/Alexa nearby you can hit the button to turn on your device. My only complaint is it is pretty wide, this makes it tricky to use in some powerstrips, but on the wall it fits fine.

I ordered these to control Christmas decorations. They work, but are a nightmare to set up. The first one set up easy. The second one I had to reset three times. The last two were a nightmare. After several attempts I finally contacted Amazon for assistance as I figured they were defective. The person on chat had me do all of the same things I had already done several times to no avail, then handed it over to another representative who had me do the same things over again. When that was unsuccessful, she wanted to send me to another department but I was out of time and patience. I tried again later 5 more times and they finally connected. Not sure if I will purchase anymore or try a different brand next time. I will assess how well they work for a couple of months first.
