> 3 dayNOTE: I received these at no cost to review. I have purchased several Treatlife products (smart switches) in the past and used the SmartLife app to configure. These devices came with instructions to configure using the Treatlife app, and to enable a skill and link to my Amazon account. I had not done this before so I reached out to customer support for clarification and they were helpful and timely. Once configured, I was able to easily recognize and use Alexa for voice control. I tested the timer function and it works great. I tried using the smart plug with a Levoit Air Filter. It would power on then power off immediately (reason for 4 stars). Not sure why. I tested all four plugs with a large fan, small fan, and two desk lamps. These all worked OK. A good deal when buying 4 for under $22.

> 3 dayI have two great uses for this product. The first is to power my electric fireplace. I paired a plug and then put it under the fireplace, where the control unit connects to 120v power. Then I turn on the switch that typically turns the fireplace on to start the flames. Because the plug is paired to Alexa, I can. now just tell Alexa to, Turn on the Fireplace and it works. The second place was on one of the lamps in my bedroom. I get up typically around 6:20. And at this time of the year, it is dark out where I am. So the plug automatically turns on at 6:20 AM. This paired with my soft-awake alarm always does the trick. Setting up the plugs was incredibly easy. And because I have already paired the app for other devices, Alexa knew about it as soon as the functions were working.

> 3 dayI originally purchased the Amazons Smart Plug through a promotion, and later purchased the Treatlife Smart Plug 4 Pack to replace all my old manual timers for our indoor and outdoor Christmas lights. So glad I did!! The Amazon Smart plug works great, easy to set up, but way too expensive. I had some issues setting up the Treatlife smart plugs; however, after I got them online, it was easy to configure my routines or schedules in the Treatlife app. I like the Treatlife app better than the Amazons Alexa app; BUT, in order to use Alexa youre stuck with Amazon. Beyond the initial setup, the Treatlife Smart Plugs are convenient, a great value, a little smaller than Amazon plugs, and they work great with Alexa. Again, the setup could be easier. Ive had some incidents where plugs (lights) turn on beyond routines. (Hey, why is the downstairs light on in the middle of the night!) Also, plugs wont fit inside outside bubble outlet box (I guess its not intended for exterior use). Overall, I highly recommend.

> 3 dayWe bought these for our Christmas Lights throughout the interior of the house so that we could ask Alexa to turn them on/off for us. Setup was slightly tedious in having to download the proprietary app, and then add each plug individually (Admittedly though, this may be user error). Once added, theyve worked flawlessly with Alexa to manually turn on/off (we havent tried a schedule yet since the kids are having joy asking Alexa to turn them on/off). One last note: Since their placement varies in distance form the WiFi Router, they dont always turn all on/off at the exact same moment, but do switch their state as asked.

> 3 dayUpdated: After my initial review, customer support was awesome and reached out to send me a free replacement for the one that didnt work with the 4 pack I ordered. Awesome customer support and awesome product. Love it! Three out of four aint bad? Bought these to control lamps and other lights in our new house. Three of the four work consistently via Alexa (both voice and schedule) without any issues. The 4th has a mind of its own and turns off and on at random. Weve tried it in several locations controlling different lamps and lights and got tired of it randomly turning off the light when we needed it so we can no longer use it. Three of the four plugs get 5 stars but the one dud made me give this product a 2 star overall...

> 3 dayI have TreatLife switches, outlets and dimmers all through my house. I love them. This item, like all their products, I have used, is super simple to install, integrates easily with Alexa (I do not use Google Home) and just works. I powered this new product up, switched my phone to 2GHz and fired up the Smart Life application. Note, I did not use the TreatLife application, I may reconsider if I see issues but all my other TreatLife products use this application so that is what I am using. Took less than 2 minutes to have the outlet up and running. Recovers quickly from a power hit and is similar in size to the other well-known products out there that I am using. It also has some nice features such as child lock, resume last state upon power restoration and the ability to enable/disable the small outlet active LED. There are also various timer modes. I have a used their tech support before and they are very responsive. Bottom line, this is a good product at a good price. I recommend it without hesitation.

Greater than one weekThis is the first smart plug Ive installed and used. Its actually about 100 times better than any analog or legacy device. We had an old timer function unit with the mechanical dial for the aquarium we have and that thing seems like its always getting out of time with the clocks. This would work perfect for cycling a light on and off during the day. I used it through the Alexa app to power an LED overhead light. I love these things as they are ready to go right out of the box. As soon as I plugged it in, it was in pairing mode ready to connect. Installation took about 2 minutes. The box states 1800W max so if thats a limitation for you, consider something a little more heavy duty. The plug does take up a fair amount of space laterally, but theres plenty of space on a dual plug outlet to run this device and a regular plug in device.

> 3 dayI only used these with the app, not the voice assistant option. Everything works well enough, and my only complaint with these is that they sometimes will randomly turn off. It happens with heavy draw and light draw equipment, and in different physical locations. It seemed to happen regardless if I swapped out the plugs. I have never used this kind of Internet of Things device before, so I dont know if that is just a feature of this type of tech. There is a setting in the app to tell the plug to resume the last state, and it will do that - its just a little disconcerting to be sitting there and the light goes out, comes back, goes out again and then comes back and stays on. We dont have any power or wi-fi issues that I am otherwise aware of, so not sure whats going on. I also did try resetting the power plugs per the instructions. The concept seems like a good one, and the equipment seems otherwise well made, so I am assuming I got a bad batch or I am doing it wrong, which is why I am only dinging it one star.

> 3 dayI confess to experiencing a bit of confusion when setting up these smart plugs through the Alexa app. Somehow I missed the TreatLife app in the Apple App Store and as a result of a Google search discovered that there are two other apps that are basically identical to the TreatLife app. I installed both of those and set up one of the plugs, but Alexa was not able to find the device afterwards. I struggled with the setup for a few minutes and then set everything aside. A few days later, my second search of the App Store yielded the TreatLife app. Once the devices were set up properly in that app and the accounts were linked, Alexa saw the devices without any further steps from me. All the functionality of the Alexa app works perfectly with these devices and Im very pleased with the results.
