Greater than one weekI liked these so much that I ended up getting two four-packs. I especially like that when you cut power to the plug, you can set it to default to on or off, or remember its last setting when power is resumed. This is useful when using the plug on an outlet that already has a mechanical switch attached. So for instance, the bedrooms in my house dont have ceiling lights, but do have light switches that control one outlet in the room. I plug the smart plug into the outlet, and then a lamp into the smart plug. Then I set the smart plug to default to on when power is resumed. Now, Im always able to turn the light on or off using the switch. And when it is on, I can then turn it off using the smart plug. This is nice, because other remotes Ive tried default to off only when power is cut and resumed, which makes it really annoying to use with a mechanical switch.

> 3 dayWe were using several mechanical timers that were not very accurate and would make buzzing noises. These smart plugs are smaller, quiet and have accurate timers. The app uses Bluetooth initially to identify the plug. You then connect it to your wi-fi (make sure to have your wi-fi password ready). Setting a schedule was a bit confusing, the on/off indicator is strange. You set the time first, touch on/off, change it (to on or off), then confirm (the app says Confrim) and then touch Save. Once Id programmed the first plug, the other three were easy. I have not tried grouping the plugs. You just need the app on your phone to set/control these smart plugs. You do not need Alexa.

> 3 dayProduct: Treatlife SK50 Smart Plug 4 Pack The Treatlife SK50 Smart Smart Plug was very straightforward to install. If you dont want to use the app, there is an on/off switch on the side. There is an LED that shines when the plug is on and flashing when it is ready for pairing with the app. I already had the app on my phone from when I had installed another Treatlife product (actually several products). I just plugged the Smart Plug in and added the plug to the app. I did not need to use the included instructions. From the phone it is easy to remotely turn the plug on and off or create a schedule. or safety, a child safety setting is included to prevent accidentally activating the plug. it is very easy to create a regular schedule to turn on and off on any day or all seven days of the week. Other features include a 23 hour, 59 minute countdown, away times as well as an inching function. This means that the smart outlet will stay on for a preset time, up to 60 minutes and 59 seconds, when the plug is turned on.Im not sure if the manufacturer planned on allowing this to be a day or longer, but as it is now, it is slightly longer than an hour. I will use this product for a couple of things not met by other timers. During the Christmas season, I plan on setting the timer to set a daily/weekly schedule for Christmas tree lights. That way I dont need to remember to do it every day. The other use is to control a food dehydrator that sometimes has to run for several days. Most timers run for up to 24 hous, but this unit will work for the several-day cycle I need. This product works very well and is very easy to use.

01-04-2025This was a splurge for me this past Christmas - Yeah, I know, $25 isnt that much of a splurge! But honestly, I didnt know if it was going to be worth it! But after reading a bunch of reviews on a bunch of different brands of wi-fi plugs, I decided to go with Treatlife. I dont use, or intend to ever purchase or use, any smart speakers to connect with these plugs, although I considered purchasing ones that worked with Apple Homelink, but they were always more expensive. I bought this 4-pack in time to put one on the Christmas tree, and a couple other lamps around the house. The app was easy to use to get started, and it didnt take too long to figure out how to set up rooms and scenes, with multiple plugs coming on simultaneously. The best part is that with Apple Shortcuts, I can say Hey Siri, turn my light on! And bam! Its on! Thats really handy if you use Hey Siri. Also a factor was the fact that these are 15 amp plugs. I use one of them to power my home studio! (Just a small mixer and two self-powered studio monitors.) Instead of reaching around to find the switch for all three units, I tap my phone or tell Siri to power it up. (One application I recently thought of that will most likely motivate my purchase of another set of these is charging smart devices. I hate the thought of leaving our iPad charging all night, as I know this is bad for the longevity of the battery. So using one of these with a timer set for 3-4 hours would allow me to set it to charge at bed time, and know that it wont over charge the battery for the last 4 or so hours Im asleep.) I highly recommend these if you are looking for a simple product to replace lamp timers, control small electronic devices, etc. They totally exceeded my expectations!

Greater than one weekThese smart plugs work great. They are simple to install. Just download the app, hold the power button down for about 5 seconds and the app will find it automatically. Once the plug is pared there is a bunch of option automation. You can set schedules (even based off of when the sun sets), timers and control it with both Alexa, or google. There are little details they have added that I didnt expect to find on a budget smart plug, for example there is a little LED that lets you know when the plug is on, helpful, but if it is bugging you can disable it in the app. Also you can turn on child mode so that if the power butter is pressed over and over it will stop working. I have 4 kids so I know that will happen sooner than later. Adding it to the Alexa app was a little tricky but that more because I think the Alexa app is confusing. Like I said though, theyre great little plugs that just work like they’re supposed to.

Greater than one weekAnother great product by Treatlife. Have their smart switches and love them. Glad they came out with these smart plugs. Works smoothly and as expected. The 15A /1800W is great to control higher wattage appliances. The plug is also smaller than other brands and small enough vertically to fit two in the same outlet pair. (Note: power strips have varied pitches between outlets, so depending on the particular power strip, the plugs may not fit on adjacent outlets. But there usually are enough outlets to space them out in that case.) The manual on/off button is on the side, which may or may not be convenient depending on how things are located. Something to consider if you plan to manually control the unit frequently. Of course, this is not a problem for voice control. App works well, Overall, a great product. Recommended.

> 3 daySome people stated that it was super easy to install and some stated it was a pain. Im siding with it being a pain. Yes I know that it only runs on 2G, but my Alexa couldnt locate the plugs, and I had to contact customer service at Amazon, which was very helpful. I had to download the Smartlife app in order for Alexa to recognize them. So, no, this was not easy to set up. It took my over 2 hours to set them up. Once they were up and running, they seemed to work well. Im decent with technology, but this was kind of stupid since I had to download a completely different app for the plugs.

> 3 dayFirst of all, they dont integrate directly to Alexa. They require a seperate app to initialize and a skill for Alexa so they can talk to their server. Their signal is weak and devices within 50 ft of the router dont always respond.

> 3 dayI used it control my indoor and out door Christmas scenes. The timer scheduler option is very good and it works with my google home. Two things I didntike. First there are two apps on Google play market, one of them will work the other dont. So if they can just add a QR with link with one works would be great. Second some times the pairing to the app doesnt work from the first time so running the discovery couple of times more and the app was able to catch. Other than that it is v.good product so far.
