> 24 hourThis is so easy! No need for any soda ash. I even did them dry so the dye would really take with bold colors. You just add water to the dye and the bottles have colored tops so you know which color is which. Came with lots of gloves, tons of rubber bands, and a great instruction sheet with lots of ideas. Shirts turned out fantastic! Very happy. Only thing that is questionable is that the replacement dye packs are $35 on Amazon, so much more than the kit itself. Why?

> 24 hourThis kit is simply amazing. I dont often write reviews, but depend on them when purchasing products so I thought I would lend my endorsement to this wonderful kit. It was so simply to use and had an enormous amount of dye and everything you would need for almost any size of project. I had to dye book bags for my class and hadnt ever tie dyed before so I was hesitant. The directions were simple, colors were gorgeous and the process was flawless. I was shocked! I was able to dye 25 cavas book bags and four mens t-shirts, but we ended up discarding all the extra dye so, honestly, we could have even done a larger project. I purchased two kits, but will save the other for next years students. What a great product and a wonderful value. Plus...it was really fun!

> 24 hourMy grandkids, 4-8 years old, loved this. Surprisingly, not that messy, because of the individual bottles. Be sure to wear gloves. I recommend using other gloves though. The ones included are too big and clumsy. My six kids made 3 T-shirts each. They loved the unveiling as we unrolled them to reveal the design. I highly recommend using within a day or two. Colors definitely lose potency. They do get lighter as they are worn and washed, but they still look nice. Is there a way to make them more colorfast? I thought of heat setting them in the dryer but didnt want to stain my drier.

> 24 hourThis is a GR8 beginner kit, until youre ready to invest hundreds of $$ in large quantities of dyes and all the goodies that youll need, and you dont have to use every bottle at one time. The plastic table cloth and Lots rubber bands came in very handy, and while I have my own rubber gloves that fit better, I used the ones enclosed. I learned that you should check the gloves for holes before starting. I got my white cotton clothes And got in the mood to kreate. I started off by adding water to 5 different color bottles and by overlapping some of the colors while I was applying them, I was able to get some other shades. As per the instructions, you wrap the wet, dyed items in plastic for several hours, so I used part of the plastic table cloth and that worked very well. Using only those 5 bottles, I dyed 3 pair of thick tiny infant socks, a short sleeve onesie for a 1 year old, a short sleeve t~shirt for a 4 year old (on the thin side) and a t~shirt for an 8 year old (on the thick side) and everything was well saturated, as it should be. I kind of wish Id taken a look at some videos on YouTube on tie~dye techniques, which I will most likely do next time, but I also figured some things out After I took the rubber bands off, like use the rubber banded areas as the line to change colors. In any case, as an 8 year old little girl trapped in the body of a 57 year old woman, I had a lot of fun (and so did Karlo, who was keeper of the box).

> 24 hourI got warehouse deal and it came totally fine. We did this for the first time and loved it. Something we will do now with the kids yearly I think. Came with plenty of gloves and bands! Loved having lots of colors to choose from and the colors look amazing after going through the wash too! We are very happy with our turn out! I would get this kit again. It was powder and we just had to add water! We let it sit overnight and I think that worked great! My rating 5 star - I really like this item, really made me go wow you should get this 4 star- I like this item and it is fine, but didnt go wow you need this 3 star- this item is alright but has a few flaws 2 star- quiet a few flaws I would totally go somewhere else 1 star- junk no good dont waste your time

> 24 hourThis was great! Best part about this was how much was included: lots of rubber bands, many pairs of gloves, good variety of colors and a drop cloth. The only thing it didn’t include was the fabric to dye. We had so much fun we reverse dyed 2 shirts, 1 sweatshirt, dyed 3 more shirts and 3 pillow cases and a face mask. Still have enough supplies to do several more. Very easy to use. Even more tie dye techniques online.

> 24 hourGreat dyes that one can use with all the family. Each little bottle, when filled up to the line, gives the shirts strong colors. But they are small, so they run out pretty quickly depending on how many shirts one does. One packet allowed us to make about 5-7 shirts (depending on the style you want/how much dye you use). You can also add more water when a color starts to run low, but just be aware since it’s watered down, it may not come out as dark. Also, make sure to use gloves and use a plastic sheet underneath whatever you dye because it will stain your hands/nails for about 1-2 days. Something that came with a previous packet of tie dye were plastic containers (like the to-go boxes). When we finished our shirts, we then placed them inside of the containers and put them in the microwave for about a minute or two to let the color seep in deeper with the steam/heat. Just be careful because it will be hot when it comes out. After we just let it cool down and then rinsed and wash the shirts. Some color does wash away.

> 24 hourKids LOVED every single part of the process. The preparation, the actual dyeing, the waiting and the washing and wearing! It comes with every single thing you need to tie-dye. (Aside from the fabric you wish to color) And it comes with a lot of dye. The instructions are very detailed and even have a few tutorials on various patterns you can use. We managed to dye so many pieces with this kit...I do believe, 6 shirts, a tapestry(which was a queen sheet) and a pillowcase with a lot left over. It says to use the dye within 1 hour of mixing them up becuse it will begin to fade and the colors wont be as vibrant. Which was plenty of time. The kids cant wait to do more. The clean up is super easy and its not messy. We used baking racks to dye ours on outside and tang worked well. We wrapped them in plastic grocery bags we had lying around and then wrapped them the plastic tarp it comes with. In the Texas summer heat. We rinsed and washed them 9 hours after they were finsihed dying and the colors are still vibrant after going through the laundry a few times! Cheap and easy fun!

> 24 hourGloves were huge and strange. Most of the colors looked great but a couple didn’t look like the color it was supposed to be.
