> 3 dayI have bought this kit 3 times now, and I love it! Colors stay bright after multiple washes (in cold or eco-warm-just because thats what I usually run the washer on). I made burp/spit up rags and crib sheets with the first batch so they have spent quite a bit of time in the washer, not to mention that I have soaked them in Oxyclean and it doesnt ruin the colors. The first 2 pictures are all the items I did with one single kit this last time (dont mind the gag gift boxers LOL). The final picture is from when I first tried this kit 15 months ago and it has survived well through all the washings and the Oxyclean soaks. I do suggest cotton fabric but I noticed that some brands put a thin waxy coating on their fabrics to keep it clean for shipping, so I just wash them on warm with just a little detergent and dry them before binding them. I had no problems with the brands Haines or Fruit of the Loom and didnt prewash them, but had to massage it a bit as I dyed them for full saturation. Heres what I did: 1) I rubber band the fabrics I want to dye with the rubber bands included in the kit, but I also pick up an extra package or two of rubber bands just to make the designs more intricate. 2) I fill each bottle with half the needed amount of water, replace the caps and shake well to dissolve all powder because sometimes the powder can get stuck to the bottom of the bottle. Then I fill the bottles up the rest of the way and shake again. WEAR GLOVES even at this stage or you will have to scrub for days to get it off your skin- like I did, which made my job interview the next day a bit awkward. Hah. ALSO, leave the bottles standing or tilted upright once filled as they tend to leak laying down. 3) I lay out an old plastic shower curtain out in the yard in the shade, get comfortable with a drink and go to town- I use paper towels to wipe up spilled dye between switching colors so it doesnt transfer to other parts of my fabric. I work from lightest dye to darkest on each binded garmet. Also, if I noticed the dye was beading on the fabric and dripping off without absorbing, I just go slow and easy on the dye, and use a gloved finger to massage it in a bit so it will soak into the fabric then it would easily accept the dye when I add some more on. 4) I put all the projects in a tightly knotted plastic garbage bag and leave them in the shaded garage overnight. 5)The next day, I snip the rubber bands and use the garden hose to rinse out and wring out all of the garments. I suggest using running water from a hose or faucet instead of rinsing them in some sort of prefilled tub or basin to keep the white parts from soaking up leftover dye and being less vibrant. 6) I hang them out to dry fully for a few hours, then I machine wash them on delicate, cold water with an extra rinse and spin. After first initial washing, I just toss them in with the rest of the laundry (except whites of course) and I have had no issues yet. Hope this helps!

> 3 dayThis was an awesome kit for tie dye. There were 18 different colors, gloves, tablecloth, great instructions, rubber bands - everything you need to tie dye! We dyed 6 shirts and 6 pillowcases and still had some left over. The colors were beautiful and bright and easy to mix. Will definitely buy again.

> 3 dayMy niece is a crafty kid and I try to do my best to encourage her artistically. At first I was unsure about this but she mixed her own dye color and colored a beautiful pair of jeans. They turned out wonderfully

> 3 dayWe bought this for a BBQ this summer and had a blast! Its easy to use and all-inclusive. Working in a lab, we upgraded from the gloves it came with since theyre not really the best. But everything else about the kit is great. All told, I think we made about 5 shirts and had a lot leftover. One has to really saturate the fabric with the dye for a strong color- we didnt really get that part right the first time so its possible we would have gone through a lot more color if we had. There are duplicates of some colors, which is nice. The pamphlet of ideas is pretty crappy and missing steps- Id recommend looking up design ideas online first.

Greater than one weekSuper cute kit , has everything you need except paper towels and shirts lol we had so much fun even have a whole row of color and rubber bands and gloves left over for another fun time of tie dye ,we only did 5 shirts and had so much left over note to self make sure you have a lot of shirts to do so you use all the dye ;) (which if it’s not used within 72 hours is no good but we had our fun until next time , thank you easy clean up. And if you stained your hands or face lol came right off with a little Clorox and water (we have a spray bottle always on hand .

> 3 dayOne of the bottles had a whole in the bottom. The contents of the box was covered in dye powder, I thought it was powder from the packaging at facility. Once I put water in the bottle, dye starting leaking all over my kitchen. Still used the ready of them, but what a mess and a waste of one of the colors.

> 3 dayWe tie-dyed shirts, masks, and scarves. There was plenty of dye to do many garments. The kit comes with plenty of rubber bands, 6 pair of gloves and a table covering. We rinsed our items and they look fantastic. The colors are really pretty too. We are very happy with how they came out. Things to know: wash your garments ahead of time and it is one and done. The dyes only last for 72 hours.

> 3 dayThis brand is always my Go-to brand for the dye it comes with 18 bright and unique colors. All the dyes were perfect as far as concentration and contrast. I will say you should purchase your own rubber bands as we had two if these kits and both had dry rotted rubber bands, however that is no reason to down grade the kit, it happens! So just to be sure you have enough for all of your projects buy your own pack of rubber bands. Also the gloves do NOT FIT CHILDREN . You will have a sloppy mess on your hands if you have young kids trying to dye clothing with these gloves on. They help a tiny bit but my girls still had colored hands due to the gloves not fitting. Some of the dye even soaked threw the gloves they give you staining my own hands! The dye its self is wonderful though we made some very unique and colorful designs. We had 8 people using one kit and everyone had at least two to three items they were able to dye. I recomend this kit over anything else listed on Amazon as its the most for your money plus amazing quality. I also want to add I get nothing for placing my reviews, my reviews are 100% my own feelings and opinions of products in my 100% honest opinion!

> 3 dayThe product box had been sliced in the back and taped together. When we first opened the package we thought it was still ok.....then when we were filling the bottles with water to start using them we realized two of the bottles had been sliced as well. Very unhappy, the actual kit works great this was the second time we have used this product. This purchase however was very dissapointing! I will purchase in store next time to make sure the bottles are in good shape.
