> 3 dayMy boyfriend loves his tie dyed Bombas socks but you can’t get them anymore. So, I ordered white ones and got this kit to do our own. I washed them first, then soaked them in soda ash solution for 20 minutes (bought a small package of it at Walmart) and then applied the colors. The little squirt bottles made it easy to apply the color. Sure, some leaked a little bit, but not bad. I put each pair of socks in a separate ziplock bag and let them set up for around 2 hrs. Then I rinsed heavily with cold water until water ran clear then took off rubber bands. Once rubber bands were removed I rinsed again until water was clear. Now time to wash them all. I love how the colors came out. I would definitely recommend this kit. It does say to let the color sit on the item for 6-7 hrs. Because I soaked in soda ash first I didn’t feel this was necessary. Also, be careful not to let items touch one another after you rinse and remove rubber bands. The colors can bleed until they’ve been washed a few times.

> 3 dayThis was great! Best part about this was how much was included: lots of rubber bands, many pairs of gloves, good variety of colors and a drop cloth. The only thing it didn’t include was the fabric to dye. We had so much fun we reverse dyed 2 shirts, 1 sweatshirt, dyed 3 more shirts and 3 pillow cases and a face mask. Still have enough supplies to do several more. Very easy to use. Even more tie dye techniques online.

> 3 dayThis is the easiest way to tie dye!! Only concern was that the lids to the bottles dont screw on SUPER well, so make sure to fill with water and shake somewhere where you dont mind some dye spattering around. Also, dying 100% cotton is the key to success here. Really enjoyed this kit for a birthday party, we had more than enough dye for 12 adult medium shirts!

> 3 dayI am a teacher and got 9 of these kits through a DonorsChoose project (through Amazon) to dye 125 shirts for our field day event. These kits were even better than I expected, they come with a big clear plastic cover, tons of rubber bands, gloves, and bottles with pre measured dye. All we had to do was fill the bottles with regular tap water. A bunch of other teachers and kids helped and we had a blast doing this. We were able to do more shirts with each kit than expected and didnt even have to use them all. We rinsed, washed, and dryed them after letting them sit over the weekend. They came out super vibrant. (We did not pre wash them before hand). I did some for myself and have washed them several times and there has been no fading yet. The best part about this kit is that it comes with such a huge variety of colors. I am sure I will be buying more of these in the future.

> 3 dayThe colors are nice and vibrant! With plenty for numerous clothing items! We had our whole family of 6 with multiple items. The only issue was rinsing the items. But we filled the bath tub and just let them sit for a while, and the colors didn’t really bleed noticeably. I would recommend for all the variety of colors!
