Hi, I am so disappointed with this item that I got not only doesnt transmit strong wi-fi signal downstairs but it stopped working completely. I would like to return the item for full refund of purchase please. Thank you

My problem was getting wifi to a couple remote areas of my stone house. Of course I had to hang cat-6 wire on the outside of the house, but now the wifi is strong, and I can see its working by checking the controller software.

I purchased this Unifi AP AC Lite so I could play around with Unifi for the first time. I figured it was the best way, and cheapest way, to start with Unifi, even if it was a standalone AP. That being said, I wasnt sure what to expect from this little guy. Once I received it and got it hooked into my network, I started running speed and distance tests on it. AND WOW! I couldnt believe it. Granted, it wasnt much faster than my consumer grade TP Link all in one router, but the range was incredible. I live in a 3000+ square foot house and it literally covers the whole house. The speeds upstairs in the far corner are slow, which is to be expected, but the fact that it reaches is what is amazing. I have gone full on Unifi since my purchase and I am currently in the process of setting up the whole network. If you are looking for a cheap way to get into Unifi, or perhaps your home doesnt require a ton of APs, I HIGHLY recommend this Unifi AP AC Lite.

I purchased my first UAP-AC-LITE based on an Ars Techica review (Amazon wont publish links, so just search for Ubiquiti on Ars). These are not for everyone, as they are very powerful, and require a management app be installed on a machine. However, if you want a pro-quality AP at a reasonable price, the UAP-AC-LITE is an excellent choice. I just finished hard-wiring it into the ceiling using its provided PoE injector. I plan on getting rid of all of my old 802.11n gear, as I now have two UAP-AC-LITEs that will probably cover my entire house (3000 sq. ft., three levels).

Install and forget. It just works. One login/pass for all the place. Low maintenance. No need to keep up with updates. Excellent engeneering. I installed this in 2 houses.

These APs are simple to setup, reliable, and very powerful!

Best AP on the market. Super easy to install and setup. I have one on my 2nd floor and it covers the entire 2,200 sqft house + half the yard on all sides.
