08-06-2025As others have mentioned, the AC-LITE is very small and easy to mount almost anywhere. LED can be turned off in the controls (it got annoying in the bedroom its mounted in). I was wary at first about having to install a controller, but it turned out to be super easy. ***HAD TO TURN OFF WINDOWS FIREWALL TO SEE THE AP***. 1. Install the controller software 2. Plug it in 3. Use the wizard to set it up. Enjoy high quality wifi

> 3 dayJust like all other Unifi stuff, works very well. Plugged it in, adopted it and is chugging along just fine.

> 3 dayI bought this AP to attach to my USG and replace my Frontier Arris router and WiFi access point. It easily covers my entire home and I have it behind my living room TV.

> 3 dayI purchased two of these units to replace older and no longer supported Ubiquiti access points. After 2 weeks of WiFi dropping in and out and 2 different network techs I have come to the conclusion these are horrible junk! Returning both and I am highly disappointed.

> 3 dayThe ability to centrally manage and monitor the devices is very good. I am a bit wary of the robustness of the PoE architecture. We acquired an initial for units to evaluate before purchasing more, but had power issues with two. PoE for one had no power at all. Other initially was working. However, after relocating it, the AP caused PoE LED to blink when it was connected.

> 3 dayI would think if someone is purchasing this AP they’d be aware it’s not intended for the average consumer. I’m not a Network Engineer, but I studied IT for a time while in college and have a basic understanding of networking. This AP is super easy to get up and going if you’re looking for a pretty basic setup. I purchased it for home to have better and more reliable coverage than an off the shelf router/ap.
