> 3 dayThe ability to centrally manage and monitor the devices is very good. I am a bit wary of the robustness of the PoE architecture. We acquired an initial for units to evaluate before purchasing more, but had power issues with two. PoE for one had no power at all. Other initially was working. However, after relocating it, the AP caused PoE LED to blink when it was connected.

> 3 dayA friend told me about these after my complaint to him about our spotty UVerse wifi around the house. These work so well! I can go from room to room without my device dropping the wifi. I also had issues with Netflix on a TV that wasnt that far away from the UVerse modem, now I have no issues at all. After having the cables run, setup was super easy. My network is a bit complicated, so it took some time for everything to be recognized and now everything is working perfectly. I have had no wifi issues at all since installing these! Love them!

> 3 dayThese are great. I have placed two of these in my manufacturing plant. One in the office area. The other is the main shop. I might add one in Between the two, but coverage seems great. Using the two to serve 25000 sq feet of manufacturing space. Using these with the cloud key..its a must. If my wireless router dies at home, Im getting one of these.

> 3 dayHOLY COW! This is what REAL WIFI is ~supposed~ to be like. I installed three of these in my home, and my world changed! They work SO MUCH BETTER than the other access points I had. They have been rock solid and performance is EXCELLENT on all bands. I cant recommend them enough.

> 3 dayIve seen a lot of other reviews and you must understand the typical users will have some issues setting this up. I have an IT background and was able to setup it up ok, but they are definitely not plug and play. So it is not recommended for the faint of heart without any technical experience. The instructions that come with them are a very small folded pamphlet, so you need to go to Ubiquiti website for more setup information and controller software. The support is pretty much useless and have to wait a long time for pretty much level I support. You have to download a Java based Unifi Controller software to install on your PC to manage it, so it does not have a built in interface to access. Also, if you want to remotely manage it the Unifi Controller software need to be running on you PC all the time, or you will have to pay hundreds of dollars for cloud software key. But if you want to manage it remotely with the Controller software it is pretty tricky to setup and you have to open a bunch of TCP and UDP ports on your firewall which is not worth it. Also after a few hours of use the AP seems to run pretty warm on the bottom. End result is the price is ok, but it is just an OK AP in my opinion, but disappointed with the wireless coverage and remote management and definitely no built in interface.

> 3 dayI have had a lot of luck with Ubiquiti APs at this point. This AP was added to the existing 4 APs at my house and was a great addition to the portfolio for AC at the $100 price point. I would suggest joining the beta controller program to get the newer software. Ubiqui is not spectacular about communication but well worth it at the price.
