Great concept but I wish the documentation was better. Runs my access points okay after a few go-rounds with tech support.

Great addition to a Ubiquiti setup. Had to restore settings to it once.

A simple solution to allow for control of the Unifi products. Easy to setup and use. Just make sure you update the firmware for the key and software running on the key.

Definitely a recommendation! I would highly suggest purchasing this, as part of a starter setup. If you are planning on tweaking or even actively monitoring your network(s), this key is a great recommendation. Even though its not a requirement, to get your network running. It simplifies the remote capabilities of managing your network. You dont have to pay for any subscriptions.

Stable fast. Install and forget

I bought it together with Ubnt Switch to be used as my unifi controller. I had the software installed in my Synology for some years but had some concerns related to a third party developer that always had to create the package and wait for the updates. Also to save energy I had started to shutdown my NAS on some periods. So based on that I prefer to have this clean solution using the PoE connection of the switch.

Don’t buy this unless you want to have to reset it every time you want to use it. I’ve spent more time resetting it than actually interacting with it. No idea why it becomes unresponsive so often. I would almost classify it as a scam. And don’t even think about reaching out to support. Long waits and always waste your time with redundant questions. They only support via chat or email. No phone calls. Unifi if you’re reading this you should refund or replace it for me. Unbelievable.

I love the UniFi System... I have the USG 4 Pro, POE 24 port 250W switch, a standard UniFi 24 port switch, and the UniFi Access Point AC Pro. These work EXCELLENT!!! I also have a 2nd site with this equipment and the system will connect both locations via VPN Automatically.

Great little device. Not always needed, especially in a home. Inexpensive and stable compared to other options.

For reliability reasons I didnt want to install the software on one of our existing computers. This uses less power, less physical space, less setup, and less cost then buying a dedicated computer for the job. It works great and I have been very happy with it.
