Ubiquiti UniFi Cloud Key (UC-CK),White

The end pieces are too small and wont stay in. The band pops out from the watch, and its fallen twice. Even though you can feel the watch lock click in place, it still pulls straight out (doesnt slide out the side like other people experienced.)

I am new to Ubiquiti equipments and just bought UAP-AC-PRO and Cloud Key to evaluate their equipment. I am amazed with good design and convenience of cloud controller. The size of Cloud Key is bigger than Fire TV stick, but still small enough and silent. This let you avoid having to have a dedicated server to install Unifi Controller software to manage your Unifi devices. You do not need to have the controller software always running for AP only, but you will enjoy easy access to your device anywhere. Highly recommended. One thing I have experienced is that this device hangs if you use inadequate USB power. I initially connected the device to USB port of my Asus router and the device experienced hangs after awhile. Once I used a dedicated USB power wall adapter, it worked like charm. I plan to buy USG and managed switch to fully replace existing devices in my home.

Unreliable. Constantly locks up. Have had to do multiple factory resets. Worthless.

Works like a champ. Ive read a few negative comments about reliability and stability. Not the case here. Thus was plug and play as long as your read the book and understand how to access the device once plugged in. I am now running current stable release and all is well going on 90d.

brilliant bit of kit! very new to using the ubiquiti products - i have a couple of access points also, work brilliant highly recommend the cloud key and the ACs worth the money :)

Took a while to get the device to be discovered. Upgrading the firmware on the device made the whole network stop working so I had to hard reset all my devices and start over. Support for these products is really minimal so its really for somebody who loves maintaining a network.

Im a huge fan of Ubiquiti gear. This Cloud Key works well most of the time but MAKE SURE YOURE BACKING UP REGULARLY. Twice since Ive owned it Ive realized my network control was inaccessible only to find the Cloud Key with a blinking white LED and unresponsive. This requires a factory reset, which isnt too bad if you have a backup file on the SD card or saved locally...but if you dont it can be a lengthy process of readopting and reconfiguring all of your devices. It seems theyve fixed this failure problem in the Gen2 Cloud Key.

I was using a Raspberry Pi for my controller and the micro SD card bit the dust. I finally bit the bullet and bought the controller. It was super easy to setup and is working perfectly.

Easier to use than the software solution. It can use USB power or PoE. Bets part is that Ubiquiti can make it cloud-accessible so that I can conduct a little network magic without driving into the office. Highly recommended!

These are a good concept and when they work they are better than a local pc. However they tend to crash a lot. I have to reboot mine at least once a week.
