> 3 daySetup was a breeze. Lots of features. More geared towards small to medium businesses. Provides multi-site capability (you will need one of these in each location). Low footprint and very low power usage. Using this in my home to control 2 Access Points. Guest hotspot setup with a captive portal works only on simple password mode. Not a big deal. Has been running for about a week without any issues.

> 3 dayIn my eyes this is the way to go, no muss no fuss of having to host it yourself, and if your machines all go down this is still kicking along as long as its plugged into the switch. Its POE two which is even easier with my Ubiquiti 48 500W switch, just let it sit on top plugged it. All done. Just make sure you set up the IPs and everything correctly so you can do everything remotely from there.

> 3 dayWorks great! FYI it has a USB-C port not a micro-usb. I should have looked at the description closer.

> 3 dayThis works as expected as part of a overall replace entire network with Unifi. I bought 2 x 8 POE switchs, 1 unpowered 8 port switch, the pro security gateway, two AC access points and 2 cameras. Overall, works as expected. Was able to troubleshoot remotely.

> 3 dayFar simpler than building yourself a little box and putting their software on it! Runs on PoE or USB power and just sits along with your switch, out of the way. Small, sleek and simple to install and use.

> 3 day[EDIT 7-21-16: 4 stars revised down to 2 stars. I have returned my Cloud Key. Although the product may work very well for you, I do not believe this device is ready for prime time. For sure this device cannot yet be considered a consumer device. Reason #1, the user forums for the Cloud Key are reporting that the device fails to start properly after a power failure. #2, the unit ships with a firmware version starting with a leading zero (0.4x or 0.5x). This convention traditionally indicates beta code. Stuffing the UniFi controller into a tiny compute that plugs into a switch is a great idea, but the idea is to increase reliability. In my view the opposite is occurring. Hopefully Ubiquiti will work the kinks out down the road. Until then I am going back to running the UniFi controller on a computer. If you do choose to use a Cloud Key be sure that the switch (or the outlet providing the USB power) is plugged in a UPS (battery backup). Again, many are reporting database corruption and the Cloud Key needing replacement after a power outage. If you do need to power down your Cloud Key, shut it down from the Maintenance tab of the Cloud Key web interface first.] ----------------------------------------------------------- Hello. This review pertains to what the Cloud Key is and one way to quickly set it up. The review is for folks already familiar with UniFi. If you are new to UniFi, which is a product for managing a WiFi network, may I point you to my review entitled UniFi Overview listed here:

Greater than one weekthe #1 problem I always had with UBNT was the need to use a PC to manage the gear. This takes care of that once and for all. I love it.
