> 3 dayLoses access to SD card intermittently, requires reboot from inside the software to fix - sometimes takes a while. Not a worth while inclusion into a unifi system. Better off with a raspberry pi or a server PC.

> 3 dayThis makes managing 8 sites with around 20 APs very easy. If I had to manage more sites, more APs or had to use the captive portal I would probably consider using a cloud based controller on DigitalOcean or AWS though.

> 3 dayIf you are looking for a dedicated controller the cloud key is great. If you want to be able to run other things on it too then get a Raspberry Pi and load Ubuntu with the Unifi software. No complaints and been working great for 9+ months.

> 3 dayIt works great. Thankfully I had an extra iPhone power adapter, a micro USB cable with a USB extension cable to connect everything easily. I had to upgrade the firmware on the cloud key in order to adopt the APs I had, but it went fairly smoothly and its nice because now anyone in my department can manage the APs from their browsers. I would give it a 5 if it either came with a power adapter or at least spelled out the fact that we needed a POE switch in the mix.
