> 3 dayIn spite of the claim this will work with a Chromebook it was worthless as it only did about 10mb down on speed tests which was 1/5th the speed I was seeing with the built in wifi on 2 different Chromebooks. Amazon support insisted it should work, so I tried a replacement and got the exact same result. I then ordered a linksys USB 3.0 ethernet adapter with used a usb-c adapter and it worked at full 50mb+ download on 3 different Chromebooks I tried. Here is the Linksys that worked great: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LIW8TBG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

> 3 dayThe manufacturer provides a rar archive that you will need to expand. OS X does not include a default rar unarchiver so youll have to either find one (not hard to do) or use a different operating system that supports expanding rar files. This additional step shouldnt be required to perform a device driver installation. The installation of the latest driver available as of this writing (filename: AX88179_178A_macOS_10.15_above_Driver_Installer_v2.16.0.rar) requires that you allow for a blocked extension in OS X Security & Privacy, which will not work in future versions of OS X. When I emailed UGreen support about the issue, they asked me to contact Amazon rather than providing a properly updated driver. I suggest paying the extra money to get an Apple supported usb-c network adapter. Apple is selling a Belkin usb-c network adapter and Amazon sells one too that I am trying next.
