I needed this for my school that required us to have an Ethernet cord, but I have a MAC so it made things more complicated then it needed to be, but this made things so much easier. Way more affordable than other adapters on the market

Works on both my Samsung Galaxy Tab A tablet and OnePlus 8 5G cellphone. On the cellphone I got the following download speeds using speedtest.net website: T-Mobile 5G - 29 Mbps WIFI - 340 Mbps Ethernet - 899 Mbps Samsung download/upload speeds were a little disappointing (as compared to the OnePlus) using speedtest.net application: WIFI (download/upload) - 112/217 Ethernet (download/upload) - 328/239 An improvement, yes, but not like the OnePlus 8.

I needed an usb network connector, so I ordered this product for my HP Pavilion Laptop. While wireless connections are convenient, you can achieve better performance with a direct connection to your router. After setting up the network dongle, service was intermittent with the connection dropping often. Although my laptop model was listed in the product write-up it did not work and I resorted to purchasing an HP network dongle. Save your money and go with the manufacturers offering.

I live in the mountains and I can’t depend on the Internet Wi-Fi signal. My office is very far from the router. I had to run a RJ45 Ethernet cable from the router to my office to have a reliable connection. I also plug it into my Apple TV and I receive a strong connection. I’m so grateful that this adapter was available for purchase.
